Jesus does not call us simply to be vessels that are seen, but vessels that are filled, surrendered, and used for His purpose.

May our lives carry His character, His Word, and His love—in the way we speak, serve, love, and live. May we be willing to be shaped by Him, cleansed by Him, and placed wherever He can use us.

We come across various people wherever we go. And all of them must know who Jesus is. Be a vessel for His glory. Be ready for His work. Be willing to be used by Him.

"Isang napakalungkot na posibilidad sa buhay espirituwal: Maaaring nasa loob ka ng simbahan, umaawit ng worship songs, nagbabasa ng Bible, dumadalo ng prayer meeting, naglilingkod at may ministry, sumusunod sa mga tuntunin ng simbahan, kilala ka ng mga kapatiran, pero maaari mo pa ring ma-miss ang Diyos."

There are situations that we end up getting hurt, relationships that leave us broken, and even receive hurtful remarks from the people we love. Whenever this happens, the world loudly tells us to hold grudges. The enemy whispers various statements to harden our hearts such as:

“They did not even apologize”
“They did it on purpose”
“They don’t deserve your forgiveness”

Yet, we are supposed to listen and look not to him, but towards Jesus.

Jesus forgave us even when we were the least deserving. He died for our sins without hesitation. He is our greatest example. So as we embody a love like His, we must also forgive as He forgave us.

Because the one whom you find it hard to offer forgiveness was forgiven by Jesus too. Just like you

You cannot call yourself “Christ-like” if you only know Him by His name. Representing Christ requires deep acknowledgement of His character.

The way we live our life speaks louder than our words. Although they are both important, we must never forget that we should do what we preach. If we speak Jesus, let us live the way Jesus wants us to live. Both must exist in our daily lives.

Brethren, our utterance of Jesus must embody how we behave. It is contradictory to always use His name while living a worldly life.

In our walk with Christ, there will be ways that seem right in our eyes but do not actually please Him. We make mistakes, disobey, and commit to things that will do us no good without awareness of it.

That is why we are being corrected.

Jesus uses the people around us to straighten our ways. Our Pastors, leaders, brethren, and even through people that we may not know at all. In this way, we will know the things that He wants to change in our lives, the habits that we should let go, and the cycle that we must have the courage to break.

Hence, we must not see correction as an attack to us. Instead, we must be grateful that we are being corrected as it is a signifying factor that they care about our spiritual life. It is better to feel the sting from correction than the agony of being apart from God forever. You are not rejected, you are being prepared to fulfill your calling.

Brethren, a believer who embraces correction will be the one to receive growth. May we always open our minds and hearts with what God wants to remove and improve in our lives.

There is a human tendency of being comfortable with the fact of not being seen. Oftentimes, we accomplish our tasks more efficiently when no one is watching, when we are away from the public. We even do things in isolation to do something that we do not want anyone to witness

But the truth is, Jesus sees us.

He not only sees the physical aspect of our being, he also knows everything that may be intangible. Our thoughts, the ways of our hearts, and even the secrets that we try our best to hide.

Nothing can be hidden from the Lord under all circumstances. Whether it be the good works that you did alone, or the bad deeds that you tried so hard to bury.

Brethren, in everything that we do, may we always keep in mind that Jesus can see us. Hence, we might as well do everything in pursuant of His approval. To glorify Him and please Him even when no one else is watching. Because, He always is.
