Oftentimes, there is that moment when we tell ourselves, “Just this once.” We convince ourselves that this will be the only time we choose what our flesh desires over what Jesus asks of us—that it is only a small thing, something we can make up for tomorrow.

But brethren, do not believe Satan’s lie.

What seems like a small compromise can cost you far more than you think. Small acts of neglect become greater fragments over time. Occasional compromises become habits, and habits can slowly become chains—until we find ourselves deeper in what we once promised we would only do “once.”

Faithfulness and obedience should not be delayed. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, and the enemy will always give us reasons to postpone what Jesus is calling us to do today.

Do not wait for tomorrow to obey. Choose Jesus today.

Walking with Christ was never a promise of a life without struggles. The promise is that we will never walk through them alone. Even in seasons of uncertainty, pain, and struggle, His presence remains. He walks with us through every valley, and because He is with us, we can keep going without fear.

The struggle may be present, but so is Jesus. And He will always carry us through.

We frequently look in different places, hoping to finally encounter serenity. But the truth is, the world will never be able to give us such thing.

Because brethren, the peace that we keep searching for in people, achievements, certainty, or circumstances is the peace that only Jesus can offer.

His peace does not always mean that everything around us becomes quiet. It means that even when life feels uncertain, our hearts can remain anchored in the One who never changes. We may not understand everything, but we can trust the One who does.
