Team Lipa Connect to God. Connect to People. MISSION
Connect to God. We are privileged to be able to bring people into the same relationship.

We are blessed to be reconciled to God through Christ, and we desire to see Him be worshipped and glorified in everything we do. We make disciples by reaching out to the community, equipping a lifelong learner and follower of Christ in a greater level of commitment, and commissioning faithful men and women of God who can lead people to Christ and teach the commands of God.

The wilderness is already challenging. Walking through it in the dark without protection is even worse.
You need guidance. You need protection.

The question is not whether we will face the wilderness but who is protecting us in the wilderness?
The One who brought us in the wilderness will also protect us in the wilderness.

God walks with us through the darkness.
By day God was a pillar of cloud for the Israelites as guidance on where to go and by night He was a pillar of fire as protection in the night.

Without light, the Israelites could not move, could not see, could not survive.
When God gives light He gives direction, protection, and life.

God is not the light at the end of the tunnel but He is the light for every step of the way.

Israel faced dangers such as the Pharaoh's army and the wilderness itself yet God never abandoned them.
The same God who protected Israel is the same God who protects us today.

The battle is real but so is our defender, Jesus Christ. The Lord who fought for Israel is revealed fully in Him, the Good Shepherd that lays down His life for the sheep.

God never promised a life without danger, but He promised that His people would never face danger alone.

God protects us from death.
The greatest enemy the Israelites faced was not Pharaoh but it was death. And God preserved Israel again and again.

The same God that saved Israel from death is the same God who sent His son to save us from death. Jesus saves us today and forever.

Because Jesus conquered death, our future is secure and our hope is alive. Because He lives, we can face tomorrow.

If God is your Protector. πŸ›‘οΈ
You will not be lost in the darkness.
You will not be defeated by danger.
You will not be claimed by death.

One family. One purpose. πŸ™πŸ»

We're not just people who show up to church. We're a family growing together in faith.

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." (Acts 2:42)

We are so grateful for every Sunday we get to gather as one big family to worship together, to encourage one another, and to give God all the praise He alone deserves.

There's nothing quite like being in a room full of people who love Jesus and love each other.

Every Sunday feels like coming home. πŸ’›

"Let us not give up meeting together... but let us encourage one another." (Hebrews 10:25)

Every Thursday, TEAM Calamba gathers to study God's Word together, digging into Scripture, asking questions, and growing in understanding as a community.

Acts 2:42 tells us the early church "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship". That's what we're building here, one Thursday at a time.

Whether you're new to the faith or have walked with God for years, we have a seat for you!

Sometimes we are thrown into situations or seasons when things look bleak and we do not know what to do. And as trusting as we are, we cannot help but wonder

"Lord, I know you are good.
I know you are faithful.
But I do not know how You are going to do this."

Sometimes the doubt is not a question of His character and not that we stopped loving Him. But because we cannot see any possible solution.

The wilderness never limits God's ability so the real question is not "Can God provide?" but rather "What does God's provision reveal about Him?"

God is never limited by what is impossible to man. He is only looking for someone who believes He is able.

We see one way but God sees a thousand. That is why faith is trusting in His wisdom more than our understanding.

His plan never changes. His promise never fails.

If God is consistent with His provision, why are we still worrying when God gave us the bread that will satisfy us and produce peace. The True Bread from Heaven, named Jesus Christ.

Jesus is Capable to provide our needs
Jesus is Creative in how He provides
Jesus is Consistent in providing our needs

Every provision of God in the wilderness pointed to one greater provision: Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life, who alone can satisfy every human heart. 🍞

Before Israel entered the Promised Land, God led them into the wilderness first. They didn't get the shortcut. It was not an accident. Nor was it a punishment.

Because God never promised you and I would never enter a wilderness. He promised He would enter it with us. And that realization changed everything.

There were seasons we prayed, "Lord, alisin Mo na ito. Lord, buksan Mo na ang pintuan. Lord, bakit parang ang hirap?" Why are we waiting for God to change our situation, when instead, God changed me, you, us?

But here's the thing β€” sometimes we measure God's love by our circumstances:
Kapag blessed β€” God is good!
Kapag may promotion β€” God is faithful!
Kapag gumaling β€” God answered my prayer!
Pero kapag nawalan ng trabaho… "Bakit pinayagan Mo to? Nasaan Ka? Mahal Mo pa ba ako?"

Sa katunayan ay hindi nagbabago ang Diyos. Nagbabago lang ang perspektibo natin.

God's love is not based on what happens β€” it's based on who He is. He is not a fair-weather God. Let's measure His love by His promises, not by our problems.

Because the wilderness never proves God has stopped loving us. In fact, it's often where He reveals His love the most. 🌾

Why are you skipping the wilderness?

It's where God does His deepest work.
It's where God prepares you before He promotes you.
It's where you find what comfort could never reveal.

Will you let Him shape you?
Trust His presence through the process.
