The countdown is almost over — retreat mode starts tomorrow! But before that, let's check the story of one of our Praise Ministry members about her SEW experience:

"It was 8 years ago when I joined and attended SEW 9. Honestly, I did not carry any heavy burdens at that time and I thought I would just attend a retreat/recollection just like our college days. The encounter gave me a new perspective of life and a deeper connection with God. He gave me a gift of wisdom and understanding. God will give you challenges that will test your faith, and he will make things happen in his perfect time. Everything happens for a reason. Isaiah 60:22 says "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen". Serving the community also taught me the importance of humility and how it constantly renews me"

Just two days left until our Singles Encounter! Here’s another testimony from an SE member.

"Attending the Singles Encounter Weekend in 2013 was truly transformative for me. It wasn't just a retreat — it was a pivotal moment of deep self-reflection, surrender, and rediscovery. Through the talks, the prayers, and the community I encountered, I realized how deeply God yearns for a personal relationship with each of us. It was there that I faced my wounds honestly, laid down my fears, and embraced a renewed identity anchored in Christ's love. Looking back, SEW was a doorway to a freer, fuller, and more purpose - driven life.
Before attending the Singles Encounter Weekend in 2013, I was quietly wrestling with questions of purpose and belonging. I thought I had faith — but it was more tradition than relationship. During that weekend, God broke through the noise of my heart. Through the talks, the prayers, and even the silence, I encountered not just knowledge about God, but His personal love for me. One moment that remains etched in my memory was when I surrendered all my burdens to Him. I felt a weight lift off me ; not immediately solved, but finally shared with someone who cared.
After SEW, I realized that true transformation is not a one time event but a journey. That weekend was my starting line. Even today, I trace back my healing, my call to serve, and my deeper joy to that sacred encounter with God in 2013. It was a weekend that changed everything by simply opening my heart to Him.
