As we come to gather this Sunday, May 24, our sermon is entitled, “The Gods of Lystra” from Acts 14:8-20 — in our “Gospel Proclamation: Acts Sermon Series.”

“And when the crowds saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in Lycaonian, ‘The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!’ Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker. And the priest of Zeus, whose temple was at the entrance to the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates and wanted to offer sacrifice with the crowds. But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they tore their garments and rushed out into the crowd, crying out, ‘Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men, of like nature with you, and we bring you good news…’” (Acts 14:11-15)

As we come to gather this Sunday, May 17, our sermon is entitled, “Disruptive Nature of the Gospel” from Acts 14:1-7 — in our “Gospel Proclamation: Acts Sermon Series.”

“Now at Iconium they entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers. So they remained for a long time, speaking boldly for the Lord, who bore witness to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. But the people of the city were divided; some sided with the Jews and some with the apostles.” (Acts 14:1-4)

As we come to gather this Sunday, May 3, our sermon is entitled, “Preach the Gospel” from Acts 13: 26-43 — in our “Gospel Proclamation: Acts Sermon Series.”

“‘Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses’ … As they went out, the people begged that these things might be told them the next Sabbath. And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.” (Acts 13:38-39, 42-43)

We rejoice as the new Lipa City Hall is now officially operational at Areza!

At Cruciform Life Church of Lipa City, we believe it’s no coincidence that the Lord has placed us right here—just a short stroll from this growing hub of civic life. As the area develops and more people gather in our "new neighborhood," our hearts are set on one thing: ministering the Gospel.

We are looking forward to the opportunities this growth brings to serve, love, and share the hope of Christ with our fellow Lipeños. Whether you’re visiting the new City Hall for business or simply exploring the estate, know that a community of faith is right around the corner, ready to welcome you.
