Even giving to God requires heroism.

As the PMCC 4th Watch Lipa Locale draws near to its 43rd Church Anniversary celebration, the brethren were blessed to hear a powerful message from God through Bishop Osie Quillao, entitled “The Proper Demeanor in Giving Our Thanksgiving Offering,” anchored on 2 Samuel 24:24.

Our offering to God will be meaningless if it is found unacceptable in His sight. That is why it is necessary for us to demonstrate the proper demeanor when giving. A loyal heart and a willing mind, a strong and courageous faith, an offering given with might and affection, humility, and a right mind—all these are crucial in ensuring that our sacrificial giving is acceptable and glorifying to God.

Let the giving of thanks be our sacrifice to God! May we continuously express our gratitude by fearlessly offering our sacrificial thanksgiving.

We are the church chosen and called by God.

The Doctrinal and Spiritual Empowerment of the PMCC 4th Watch Lipa Locale was filled with God’s wonderful promises as Ptr. Rex Capati delivered the message, “God’s Election and Calling Lead to Abundant Thanksgiving,” anchored on Colossians 3:15.

We are called by God to walk in obedience through faith. His election and calling mark the beginning of His grace in our lives, and every act of obedience opens the door to His blessings. We are recipients of God’s providence, and those who are called according to His purpose have a firm foundation in Him.

Above all, our divine calling is a manifestation of everlasting joy. Those who endure righteous suffering are blessed, for God sees and honors every good work done in faith.

May God’s goodness draw us closer to a life of abundant thanksgiving!

Lift your spirit and open your heart as we gather once again this Sunday for Week 3 — Doctrinal and Spiritual Empowerment! Come and be deeply renewed in God’s unchanging truth, firmly anchored in His boundless love, and richly empowered by His life-giving teaching.

As Scripture says: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15

May His peace dwell richly within us, guide every step we take, and fill our hearts with overflowing gratitude. May His Word strengthen our faith, clarify our purpose, and transform our lives, so we walk confidently and grow together in His glorious presence. United in spirit, rooted in His promises, and bound together in peace, we joyfully and warmly welcome our Keynote Speaker — Ptr. Rex Capati!

Rewind & Renewed!!

What a joy to take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about the beautiful journey of our young adults! From the humble beginnings of being juniors youths to becoming young adults, it’s such a blessing to see how they’ve grown through the years and continue to faithfully serve the Lord.

Different seasons, countless memories, but the same heart to serve. What a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness through the years!

Abundant thanksgiving is an expression of honor in serving God.

On the second leg of the Doctrinal and Spiritual Empowerment, the brethren of PMCC 4th Watch Lipa were spiritually empowered through the words of God, as exhorted by Prb. Marina De Luna on her topic, “Why Should We Be Thankful to the Lord?”, anchored on 1 Timothy 2:7.

Even before we were called, God had already chosen us. This blessed assurance is just one of the many reasons we have to be thankful to the Lord. First, God has counted us faithful; therefore, it is only fitting that we serve Him with utmost honor. Although we are weak, God continually strengthens and empowers us. Secondly, God brought us to life from our state of spiritual death because of sin. Yet, through His grace, we have been saved. There is nothing that can compare to the salvation we have received.

Additionally, Prb. Marina reiterated the ways by which we can express our abundant thanksgiving: through fervent prayer, evangelism, praise, and thanksgiving. May God find us continually offering abundant thanksgiving!

Prepare your spirit and open your heart as we gather once again this Sunday for our second Doctrinal and Spiritual Empowerment! Come and experience God’s strengthening power, the kind that revives our souls, renews our strength, and anchors us firmly in His truth as we abide together in His precious presence.

May the words of God prepare us for abundant thanksgiving. As we receive His teaching, may it shape our understanding and soften our hearts, so that when we truly grasp the depth of His election and the beauty of His calling over our lives, our praise and gratitude will flow freely, naturally, and overflowingly from within.

Let us be deeply empowered in spirit and truth, grounded in His Word, and united in faith as we joyfully welcome our Keynote Speaker — Prb. Marina de Luna.

As part of our Pre-Anniversary Celebration, we invited our Lipa locale brethren to take part in our “I’m In” Photo Challenge. A beautiful reminder that serving God is even more meaningful when we do it together.

Together, we serve. Together, we grow. Together, we move forward.

The blessedness of God’s election and calling has led us to faithful and fearless giving.

The first leg of the Doctrinal and Spiritual Empowerment at PMCC 4th Watch Lipa was blessed by the presence of Ptr. Toti Pablo, District Subcoordinator of Davao, who delivered a powerful message titled “God’s Election and Calling Lead Us to Abundant Thanksgiving.”

Anchored on Colossians 3:15, we were reminded that God’s goodness in our lives is incomparable to anything we could ever give in return. His providence, faithfulness, and unfailing love are blessings that no amount of money can ever repay. In response to His abundant goodness, may we continue to offer our lives in faithful and wholehearted thanksgiving.

Just like the Macedonian churches, whose generosity overflowed despite their trials and deep poverty, may our righteous sufferings draw us closer to God, leading us to greater reverence, deeper commitment, and a more fervent and passionate service to the Lord.

May God’s election and calling continually inspire us to live lives of abundant thanksgiving, faithful giving, and unwavering service!
