Through this shadow play of the ๐๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฒ๐š๐ง, we portray the humble journey of Mary and Joseph as they prepare for the birth of Jesus. It is a story of ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ญ๐ก, ๐จ๐›๐ž๐๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž, and ๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ž๐ญ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐†๐จ๐โ€™๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ง, even amid uncertainty and rejection.

As doors close and the night grows darker, hope continues to move forward, guided by love and faith. This presentation reminds us that the coming of Christ was not marked by comfort or grandeur, but by ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ.

This Christmas, our pantomime reflects the realities of the world we live in today. A society marked by corruption, poverty, and injustice, and a generation silently struggling with depression, anxiety, and thoughts of giving up. Through this presentation, we acknowledge these pains and burdens that many carry in their hearts.

Yet more than showing the darkness, we choose to ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ, ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ž๐š๐ซ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐›๐ซ๐จ๐ค๐ž๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐†๐จ๐. In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, ๐†๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ž. He is the light that shines in darkness, the refuge of the weary, and the anchor that holds us firm when the world feels overwhelming.

Another chapter unfolds. The celebration of Vicariate Youth Day was held on December 6โ€“7, 2025, at St. Columban Institute of Domalandan Incorporated. The Vicariate Youth Day signifies unity, teamwork, and friendship.

Unity gathered us from all parishes of the vicariate, fostering a profound sense of community that transcended all boundaries. Building on this foundation, teamwork animated every aspect of the event โ€” from collaborative activities to mutual encouragement during group moments. In turn, friendship emerged as a cherished fruit of our time together, with connections rooted in shared faith and purpose.

Vicariate Youth Day stood as a beautiful reminder of our call to stand in solidarity, letting the love of Christ shine through in how we relate to one another.
