Yesterday, December 27, 2025, we joyfully celebrated eight blessed years of priestly service of Rev. Fr. Jake J. Rovillos. With grateful hearts, we thank God for his faithful dedication, humility, and love for the Church. His guidance and shepherd’s heart have truly inspired our community and the ministries he leads. May the Lord continue to bless him with strength, wisdom, and good health as he continues his sacred mission of serving God and His people.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀

The Altar Servers' Christmas Party held on 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 was a beautiful celebration filled with joy, laughter, and thanksgiving. Beyond the games and fun, it reminded us that we are one family united in one ministry, sharing one faith and one mission of service.

This Christmas season, we are grateful for the bond, love, and dedication that strengthen us as Altar Servers to draw us closer to God and to one another.

We took our place at the altar as freshly invested servers – a moment our ministry will treasure forever. Standing there in our new vestments, we felt the weight of joy and responsibility to support our faith community in worship. As it says in Psalm 100:2 – "Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing."

Every gesture we make from this day forward is a promise to serve with an open heart, helping others encounter God’s grace in our parish.

As our ministry prepares for the upcoming altar server investiture, there’s a tangible sense of purpose filling our parish halls — we’re not just training for roles, but building a team that will help lift up our community in worship. Every practice, every conversation about liturgical meaning, is a step toward fulfilling our call to serve one another in love. We hold close the truth of Matthew 20:26-27: "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave — just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

This preparation period is a reminder that our ministry is rooted in humility and service, and we’re so grateful to walk this journey together as we get ready to stand at the altar in service to God and our faith family. Can’t wait for the big day when these future servers take their place in our parish’s life!
