Day 14 | Flores de Mayo

Another meaningful day spent in prayer, learning, and joyful fellowship for Mama Mary.
The celebration started with an opening prayer, followed by a fun and exciting spelling bee activity where the participants happily shared their knowledge and confidence.

After the activity, everyone gathered to pray the Holy Rosary and listen to the beautiful reflection of the word β€œAVE MARIA,” shared by the Youth Catechists of OMOPHP Himayangan, revealing the inspiring meaning behind every letter.

With hearts full of devotion, the participants offered flowers to Mama Mary as a symbol of love and faith.The gathering ended with a closing prayer, distribution of tokens/tickets to the participants present, and delicious snacks generously sponsored by Selda 14.

A simple yet blessed day where faith, joy, and togetherness bloomed beautifully.

A day filled with faith, learning, and love for Mama Mary. 🀍
The celebration began with an opening prayer, followed by a meaningful lecture where everyone gathered in a semi-circle, listening and learning together with joyful hearts.

After the discussion, the participants prayed the Holy Rosary and reflected on the beautiful word β€œAVE MARIA,” lovingly shared by the Youth Catechists of OMOPHP Himayangan, explaining the heartfelt meaning behind each letter.

Flowers were then offered to Mama Mary as a symbol of love and devotion. The day ended with a closing prayer, the giving of tokens/tickets to the participants present, and delicious snacks generously sponsored by Selda 13.

Another blessed day of growing closer to God and Mama Mary through prayer, unity, and service.

Day 12 | Flores de Mayo

Another beautiful day filled with faith, joy, and love for Mama Mary. We started with an opening prayer followed by fun activities like singing and dancing that helped everyone learn while enjoying. Even without a formal lesson, every activity still carried meaningful lessons connected to our faith.

After the activities, we prayed the Holy Rosary and offered the word β€œAVE MARIA” to Mama Mary. The Youth Catechists of OMOPHP–Himayangan shared the beautiful meaning behind each letter of AVE MARIA, reminding us of Mary’s love, humility, and kindness.

With grateful hearts, we offered flowers to Mama Mary, followed by the closing prayer and the giving of tokens/tickets to the participants who were present that day.

A day full of smiles, prayers, and devotion to our Blessed Mother.

A day filled with prayers, learning, and love for Mama Mary. We began with an opening prayer, listened to a meaningful lesson, and offered our Holy Rosary with sincere hearts. The Youth Catechists of Himayangan beautifully shared the deep meaning behind each letter of β€œAVE MARIA,” reminding us to grow stronger in faith and devotion.

With joyful hearts, we offered our precious flowers to Mama Mary, followed by a closing prayer, attendance, and giving of tokens to the participants who faithfully joined today.

β€œEvery prayer and every flower offered with love reaches Heaven.”

On behalf of the Diocese of Maasin - Commission on Social Communications, under the leadership of Fr. Johnrey Sibi and Riegel Allen Sandigan, we extend our warm greetings to all social communicators and media volunteers as we celebrate the 60th World Day of Social Communications.

In his message, the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV has chosen β€œPreserving human voices and faces” as the theme for the 60th World Day of Social Communications.

He emphasized that the development and use of artificial intelligence must always be guided by ethical responsibility, ensuring respect for human dignity and appreciation for the cultural and spiritual diversity of people around the world.

Let us continue to embrace new avenues of evangelization and communication to reach a wider audience and bring the light of Christ to the digital world.

Day 10 | Flores de Mayo

Another beautiful day filled with faith, joy, and love for Mama Mary. We started our gathering with an opening prayer, followed by fun singing and dancing activities where all the participants happily and actively joined in. Their smiles and energy truly made the day more lively and heartwarming.

Even without a formal lesson, everyone continued to grow closer to God through fellowship and prayer. We solemnly prayed the Holy Rosary and reflected on the beautiful word β€œAVE MARIA,” lovingly shared by the Youth Catechists of OMOPHP Himayangan.

With grateful hearts, the participants offered flowers to Mama Mary as a symbol of love and devotion. After the closing prayer, the Youth Catechists gave tickets/tokens to those who were present that day.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Selda 10 for generously sponsoring the snacks for both the participants and the Youth Catechists.

Another beautiful day filled with faith, joy, and love for Mama Mary.

Our gathering began with an opening prayer, followed by lively songs and dances that brought smiles and energy to everyone. The participants also listened attentively to a meaningful lecture shared by the Youth Catechists of OMOPHP (Himay-angan), learning more about God and the virtues of Mama Mary.

To make the day even more exciting, the Youth Catechists prepared a fun spelling bee where the participants happily joined and enjoyed every moment. Laughter and learning truly filled the day!

Together, we prayed the Holy Rosary and reflected on the beautiful meaning of the words AVE MARIA, lovingly shared by the Youth Catechists. With hearts full of devotion, the participants offered flowers to Mama Mary as a symbol of their love, prayers, and gratitude.

The day ended with a closing prayer and the giving of tokens or β€œticket-ticket” to the participants who were present. Truly, another blessed and memorable day under the loving guidance of Mama Mary.
