IN PHOTOS | PRISON AWARENESS

On December 20, 2025, the Campus Youth Ministry, together with the Ursuline Sisters, went on a heartwarming visit to the local prison, sharing joy and compassion during the holiday season. The group distributed Christmas packages and hygiene kits to the persons deprived of liberty, embodying the true spirit of giving, mercy, and hope.

The activity highlighted the importance of community support and raised awareness of the challenges faced by those behind bars, reminding everyone that love, dignity, and hope should reach all, especially during the Christmas season.

On December 20, 2025, the Liceo de Liliw Educative Family generously distributed Pamaskong Handog packages to the Liliweños as part of the school’s Annual Outreach Program. The event was filled with joy and excitement through parlor games and dance presentations that brought smiles to everyone.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors, the Liceo de Liliw community for their kind contributions to the Pamaskong Handog packages, as well as for the donations of toys and clothes. Special thanks are also given to the Faculty and Staff for preparing and providing the food. Through unity and generosity, this activity became a meaningful and successful celebration of the true spirit of Christmas.

On December 15, 2025, the Campus Youth Ministry, together with the students, held a short program to begin the day with the lighting of the Third Advent Candle. This activity continued the Advent celebration as each section reflected on the meaning of the season, guided by this year’s theme, “Pilgrims of Hope.”

The Third Week of Advent – Candle of Joy (Gaudete): “Rejoicing Along the Way” reminds us that despite the struggles we encounter, we continue our journey with joy because Christ walks with us. The lighting of the third candle calls us to rejoice in hope and to share Christ’s joy with others as we prepare for His coming.

IN PHOTOS | CHRISTMAS PARTY OF BATANG PALINA 2025

On December 14, 2025, the Campus Youth Ministry, together with the CYM Catechist Group and their coordinators, held the Annual Christmas Party for the Batang Palina children at the Liceo de Liliw Main Building. The activity began at 8:00 AM with the children’s participation in the 8:00 AM Sunday Mass, presided over by Msgr. Alex Amante.

After the Mass, the Christmas program officially started with an opening prayer led by CYM President Marianne Ardines, followed by the opening remarks of the School Principal, Sr. Marites A. Salmone, USS. The celebration continued with games and presentations by the Batang Palina children and the Grade 10 students of Liceo de Liliw, filling the event with joy, laughter, and the true spirit of Christmas.

The program concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Louie John A. Avenido, followed by a closing prayer led by Sr. Corazon B. Penados, USS. With the support of the Liceo de Liliw Faculty and Staff, food was served to the children, and the Gift of Happiness was distributed with the assistance of the Campus Youth Ministry members, bringing the celebration to a joyful and meaningful close.

The Campus Youth Ministry and Liceo de Liliw extend their heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors and donors, especially those who donated two 25-kilogram sacks of rice, toys, and clothes. Special thanks are given to Grade 10 – St. John Marie Vianney, Grade 10 – St. Francis of Assisi, and Grade 11 – St. John Bosco for the souvenirs, as well as to the entire Liceo de Liliw community for the Pamaskong Handog. Above all, we thank God for His continuous blessings. Without the generosity of our donors and sponsors, this meaningful activity would not have been possible.
