HAPPENING NOW | 12:00 NN

Today, we are blessed to take part in the 17th Diocesan Youth Way of the Cross 2026. From the very start of the registration up to the prayerful journey through the 1st to the 14th Station, the delegation of St. Stephen the Protomartyr has been actively and faithfully participating in this meaningful Lenten pilgrimage together with the young people of the Diocese of Legazpi, Albay.

Step by step, station by station, we walked together reflecting on the suffering, sacrifice, and immense love of Christ. Though the journey is long and physically tiring, our hearts remain strengthened by prayer, unity, and the shared faith of every pilgrim walking this path.

After completing the 14th Station, some of our members are now taking a short rest on the grass, while others set up a small tent to regain strength. The fatigue is real, yet it is accompanied by a deep sense of fulfillment and gratitude for being able to journey together in faith.

This moment of rest allows us to prepare ourselves for the most important part of the day โ€” the Eucharistic Celebration at 4:00 PM, to be held outside the Carmelite Monastery, where we will gather with all the participants from across the Diocese to conclude this sacred journey in thanksgiving and communion.

May this day continue to remind us that even in weariness, our faith keeps us moving forward โ€” together as one Church, one youth, and one community in Christ. โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ
