Today, the Commission on Youth – Ligao joyfully celebrates the birthdays of two faithful servants who continue to share their time, talents, and dedication in serving the youth and the Church.

The Commission on Youth – Ligao joined the Diocesan Youth Mass held at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Salvation (Joroan Church) in Joroan, Tiwi, Albay.

A total of 25 young delegates participated in the celebration with 22 delegates from the Commission on Youth – Ligao and 3 delegates from the Quasi-Parish of St. John XXIII in Batang, Ligao City.

Together with the Vicariate of St. Stephen the Protomartyr and the Diocesan Commission on Youth - Diocese of Legazpi, they gathered with fellow young people in prayer, fellowship, and celebration of faith, strengthening their commitment to the mission of the Church.

The Commission on Youth – Ligao sincerely extends its gratitude to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the City Government of Ligao for allowing our delegates to use their coaster bus, making their journey to Joroan possible and safe.

May this gathering continue to inspire our young people to live out their faith and answer the call to mission.

The Commission on Youth – Ligao gathered once again for its weekly SAKOP meeting this Saturday, July 25, 2026. United in prayer, reflection, and fellowship, the youth reflected on the Gospel of Matthew 13:44–52 as they prepared their hearts for the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Through the parables of the hidden treasure, the pearl of great price, and the fishing net, the youth were reminded that the Kingdom of Heaven is the greatest treasure we can ever receive. Christ calls us to seek Him above all else, willingly offering our time, talents, and hearts in response to His love. In choosing God above everything, we discover the true joy and lasting fulfillment that the world cannot give.

May this SAKOP gathering continue to inspire every young person to treasure their faith, deepen their relationship with Christ, and joyfully live out the Gospel each day.

💚 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦' 𝗗𝗔𝗬! 💚

Today, we give thanks to God for the precious gift of our grandparents, whose wisdom, love, and unwavering faith continue to guide generations. Like St. Joachim and St. Anne, the grandparents of Jesus Christ, they remind us of the importance of nurturing our families in faith, hope, and love.

May the Lord bless all grandparents with good health, lasting joy, and abundant grace. May their lives continue to inspire younger generations to grow closer to Christ and to live with compassion, humility, and steadfast faith.

The Commission on Youth – St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish invites all participants to join the continuation of the Basic Bible Seminar 2026 this July 26, 2026 at the Parish Formation Hall.

Let us continue to deepen our understanding of Sacred Scripture, strengthen our faith, and discover how God’s Word guides us in our daily lives. Through this seminar, may we grow closer to Christ by knowing, reflecting on, and living out His teachings found in the Holy Scriptures.

The Commission on Youth – Ligao once again gathered for its weekly SAKOP meeting this Saturday, July 18, 2026. United in prayer, reflection, and fellowship, the youth reflected on the Gospel of Matthew 13:24–43 as they prepared their hearts for the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Through the Parable of the Weeds among the Wheat, Jesus reminds us that good and evil may exist side by side in this world, yet God calls us to remain faithful, patient, and steadfast in doing what is good. Rather than allowing ourselves to be discouraged by life's challenges, we are invited to grow in holiness and trust in God's perfect timing and justice.

May this SAKOP gathering inspire every young person to continue living as faithful disciples of Christ, bearing good fruit through love, kindness, and service while placing their hope in the Lord's unfailing promises.

"Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears ought to hear." – Matthew 13:43

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

Last July 17, 2026, the Commission on Youth – Ligao held its council meeting to discuss and prepare various programs and initiatives for the continuous growth of the youth ministry.

The meeting became an opportunity for the council to plan and organize upcoming activities, including the preparation for the House-to-House Bible Enthronement, updates regarding the COY Prayer Booklet, and other future programs that will strengthen the faith formation and involvement of the youth in the parish community.

Through collaboration and shared commitment, the council continues to respond to the call of service and mission by creating opportunities that lead young people closer to Christ and encourage active participation in the life of the Church.

As we continue our journey in this Year of Mission, may the Commission on Youth remain steadfast in its mission of evangelization, formation, and service, becoming instruments of God's love and presence among the young people of the parish.
