LOOK : The St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish Ligao City through the Parish Altares and Sacred Statue Owners Association proudly presents the Official Line-up for the 2nd Ligao Marian Procession 2026.

The procession which includes the SAGALA 2026 will traverse a shortened Wednesday Procession Route which includes Brgy. Guilid, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Brgy. Dunao, and Brgy. Bagumbayan.

The arrangement also serves as the numbering assignments for the carrozas.

The 2nd Ligao Marian Procession 2026 will be on May 30, 2026 | 6:00 PM after the Eucharistic Celebration at 5:00 PM.

This year, a significant shift marks the traditional second Sunday of May feast of Our Lady of the Abandoned, patroness of Marikina City. It is the first celebration since the miraculous image was removed from her shrine, as the parish has permanently transferred the feast day to May 12th. The beautiful, original, and canonically crowned image is now enshrined in the humble abode of her 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘳𝘢. This arrangement follows an official directive from the pastoral council and parish priest, Rev. Fr. Lamberto Ramos, with the formal consent of the Bishop of Antipolo, Most Rev. Ruperto Santos, DD, as communicated in a letter to the 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘳𝘢.

LOOK: As we celebrate Ascension Sunday, we joyfully look back on the solemn and faith-filled Procession of the Image of the Risen Christ — a beautiful witness of our faith, hope, and devotion as a community. Through every prayer, every step, and every heart gathered in unity, we are reminded of Christ’s triumph over death and His glorious ascension into Heaven.

May the Risen Lord continue to guide us to live as His faithful disciples, carrying His light and love wherever we go. “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven?” (Acts 1:11) Christ ascends, but His mission continues through us.

He was lifted up, and a cloud took Him from their sight.” — Acts 1:9

Today, we celebrate the glorious Ascension of the Lord — a reminder that Jesus Christ reigns in heaven and continues to guide us with His love and mercy.

Though He ascended into heaven, His presence remains in our hearts, giving us hope, strength, and the mission to share His Gospel with the world.

May the Ascension inspire us to lift our hearts to God and walk faithfully in His light.

Part of the line-up of displayed images are private images of the different titles of the Blessed Virgin Mary from Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte and Sorsogon. Also present are some images from different Chapels in Ligao.
