ORATIO IMPERATA FOR DELIVERANCE FROM CALAMITIES

Almighty Father, we raise our hearts to you in gratitude for the wonders of creation of which we are part, for your providence that sustains us in our needs, and for your wisdom that guides the course of the universe.

We acknowledge our sins against you and the rest of creation. We have not been good stewards of nature. We have confused your command to subdue the earth.

The environment is made to suffer our wrongdoing, and now we reap the harvest of our abuse and indifference. Global warming is upon us. Typhoons, floods, volcanic eruptions, and other natural calamities occur in increasing number and intensity.

We turn to you, our loving Father, and beg forgiveness for our sins. We ask that we, our loved ones, and our hard-earned possessions be spared from the threat of calamities, natural and man-made.

We beseech you to inspire us all to grow into responsible stewards of your creation, and generous neighbors to those in need.

Through Christ our Lord.

On May 30, the Our Lady of Peรฑafrancia Minor Basilica and National Shrine participated in the 2nd Ligao Grand Marian Procession of St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish, Diocese of Legazpi, through the presence of the Image of Nuestra Seรฑora de Peรฑafrancia, Patrona del Bicol, invited as one of the Nine Crowned Marian Images of Bicol. The procession gathered thirty-one Marian images from various communities across the region.

As the Queen of Bicol passed by, the people of Ligao revealed the depth of their devotion in simple yet moving ways. Some waved their handkerchiefs in greeting, others were moved to tears, while the gaze of a child spoke of a love filled with trust and hope. In those moments, Inรข once again gathered her children beneath her mantle, carrying their prayers and leading their hearts ever closer to her Son, the Divino Rostro.

LOOK : The St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish Ligao City through the Parish Altares and Sacred Statue Owners Association proudly presents the Official Line-up for the 2nd Ligao Marian Procession 2026.

The procession which includes the SAGALA 2026 will traverse a shortened Wednesday Procession Route which includes Brgy. Guilid, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Brgy. Dunao, and Brgy. Bagumbayan.

The arrangement also serves as the numbering assignments for the carrozas.

The 2nd Ligao Marian Procession 2026 will be on May 30, 2026 | 6:00 PM after the Eucharistic Celebration at 5:00 PM.
