Today, the Vicariate of St. Stephen the Protomartyr – Vicarial Commission on Youth joins the nation in commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

With grateful hearts, we remember the courage, unity, and faith of the Filipino people who stood together in peaceful prayer and action for truth and freedom. May this historic moment continue to inspire our youth to be vigilant, compassionate, and committed to building a just and Christ-centered society.

𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 &̴ 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

“Mission: Jesus said to her, ‘Give me a drink.’” (John 4:7)

Before we walk the Way of the Cross together, we are first called to understand the mission behind it.

Let us gather for the 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗬𝗪𝗖 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻–𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 at the 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵. May this time of formation become a sacred encounter, a moment where our hearts are aligned with Christ’s mission and our spirits renewed in purpose.

In His simple request, “Give me a drink,” Jesus reveals a deeper longing, a thirst for faith that acts, love that serves, and hearts that say “yes.” As we prepare for this year’s DYWC, may His words move us beyond reflection and into mission.
