Today, we honor and thank the Lord for the precious gift of godly mothers in our church family.

To all the mothers of Ligao Anchor Baptist Church, your quiet sacrifices, faithful prayers, gentle guidance, and steadfast love are living testimonies of God’s grace at work in a home. Through your hands, children are nurtured; through your words, hearts are encouraged; and through your faith, Christ is reflected daily.

We praise the Lord for mothers who choose to serve Him even in the unseen moments; those who pray through the night, teach biblical truths with patience, carry burdens silently, and love their families with a Christ-like spirit. Your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

Proverbs 31:28 (KJV), "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her."

As a church, we rejoice in God’s goodness for giving us mothers who anchor their homes in prayer, faith, and the Word of God. May the Lord continue to strengthen you, reward your faithfulness, and fill your hearts with His joy and peace.

Sa araw na ito, aming pinupuri ang Panginoon sa pagpapamalas ng Kanyang biyaya't habag sa pagdaragdag ng panibagong taon sa buhay ng Kanyang lingkod.

Sa aming minamahal na Pastor's wife—Sis. Jhing, kami po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa iyong katapatan sa kabila ng mga pagsubok na dumaan. Ang iyong buhay ay isang buhay na patotoo ng biyaya at kabutihan ng Diyos.

Hindi matatawaran ang iyong paglilingkod at pagmamahal sa gawain ng Panginoon. Tunay kang nagsisilbing ilaw at inspirasyon sa bawat isa upang magpatuloy at maglingkod nang may kagalakan.

Nawa'y ipagkaloob Niya ang lahat ng ninanais ng iyong puso ayon sa Kanyang kalooban. Dalangin namin na patuloy kang pagpalain ng Panginoon.

🌾 𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 🌾

All glory and praises be unto the Lord for the triumphant Mission Trip 2026 of Ligao Anchor Baptist Church (LABC) held at Burias Island, Masbate! 🙌

Once again, the hearts of the mission trip participants were stirred, moved, and challenged—to genuinely have a heart for the harvest, for this is the very prayer request of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 9:38 (KJV)
“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

Truly, it is a humbling privilege to share the Gospel on the island—to witness to lost souls and to be part of God’s work in the harvest field.

𝘼 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩-𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙚.

Married couples gathered at LABC for a joyous occasion celebrating this month full of love‚ acknowledging that the Lord should be the highlight and the reason for the celebration.

The night began with welcoming remarks and an introduction, singing hymnal love songs‚ playing energetic marriage-focused games‚ enjoying fancy food and fellowship‚ and a raffle where each couple won a playful prize. Most especially‚ an exhortation from God’s Word delivered by Pastor Joel‚ connected to the theme “A Marriage Built to Last‚” with the text verse Matthew 7:24-25 (KJV)‚ emphasizing how marriage should be grounded in Christ’s love and guidance.

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘀; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, safely wrapped in His boundless grace and compassion‚ praising and glorifying Him with all our love.

Sa araw na ito, ipinagdiriwang ng Ligao Anchor Baptist Church ang katapatan at kabutihan ng Diyos sa pagbibigay ng isang tapat na lingkod sa katauhan ng aming pastor na si Ptr. Joel L. Jurado. Kinikilala ng iglesia ang lahat ng kaniyang pagpapagal at sakripisyo sa ngalan ng ebanghelyo ng Panginoong Jesukristo.

Kung kaya't sa aming minamahal na Pastor, kami po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa inyong buhay at paglilingkod. Ang inyong pagtuturo ay ilaw sa aming landas, ang inyong panalangin ay lakas sa aming paglalakbay, at ang inyong halimbawa ay gabay tungo sa mas matibay na pananampalataya.

Nawa’y patuloy kayong pagpalain ng Panginoon, at bigyan ng kalakasan upang magpatuloy sa pagtuturo ng Kanyang Salita. Kami ay nagagalak na maging bahagi ng kawan na inyong pinangungunahan, at sama-sama naming ipinagdiriwang ang kabutihan ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng inyong ministeryo.

𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗖 & 𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗔 𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 2026

Ligao Anchor Baptist Church & Anchor Baptist Blessed Academy join the Baptist Community in praising God for the great things He has done through the church in the work of evangelism, education, and charity works toward nation-building.

In a Christ-centered service, believers flocked; singing hymns, sharing testimonies of salvation and service and above all, feasting on sound Bible Preaching that focused on the theme, "Together in the Defence and Confirmation of the Gospel," drawn from Philippians 1:6–7 (KJV). This reminds us that this day is not about a name nor tradition, but about living His mission, reflecting His love, and magnifying His Name.

The celebration was done as mandated by RA 11897, an act declaring the second Thursday of January of every year a special working holiday to be known as "National Baptist Day".

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 entrusted to carry His light and to bear witness to His unending love.

Hence, united by grace, fueled by faith, and committed to glorifying Christ alone in all we do, we celebrate not what we are, but what He is doing through us.

Together, we greet the brethren a blessed National Baptist Day.
