The Covenant Orientation Weekend Retreat is doneβ¦ and maybe the rain was part of the story all along. π§οΈπ€
The weather wasnβt what we expected. It rained. There were adjustments. Some inconveniences.
But maybe that rain wasnβt a disruption β maybe it was a reminder.
Rain softens the ground before something new can grow.
Rain washes away what needs to be cleansed.
Rain makes you slow down⦠and stay still.
And thatβs exactly what happened that weekend.
We still showed up. Still responded. Still said yes.
It became a weekend of softened hearts.
Of quiet surrender.
Of prayers whispered deeper than usual.
Now that the retreat is over, the question is β what will grow from it?
Will we make more time for prayer?
Will we serve the poor more intentionally?
Will we become more patient and loving in our families?
Will we live our faith boldly in our workplaces and daily routines?
The rain fell⦠but so did grace.
Thank you to everyone who chose to be there β speakers, service team, participants, and those who served quietly in the background.
Most of all, thank You, Lord, for watering the seeds You planted in us. π€
And special thanks to the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate Community for welcoming us so warmly.
The rain has stopped.
But what God started β letβs keep it growing. π₯
