In Doctrine and Covenants 18: 10-11, the Lord declared:

โ€œRemember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God.

For, behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto himโ€

The song "One Soul" reminds us of how the Savior Jesus Christ wants each of us to come unto Him. He is waiting for us with arms wide open ready to receive us. He wants to heal us, comfort us, and let us grow and change for the better. You need not doubt how dear you are to your Savior.

He also promises that as we help Him in His great work of bringing precious souls unto Him, great shall be our joy in the kingdom of His father.

"There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated -

And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated."
- Doctrine and Covenants 130: 20-21

My brothers and sisters, the great test of this life is obedience. โ€œWe will prove them herewith,โ€ said the Lord, โ€œto see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them.โ€

The knowledge which we seek, the answers for which we yearn, and the strength which we desire today to meet the challenges of a complex and changing world can be ours when we willingly obey the Lordโ€™s commandments.

No greater example of obedience exists than that of our Savior Jesus Christ. And He invites all of us to "Come unto Him".
