For three unforgettable and joy-filled days, the young people of Pilgrim Bible Baptist Church Ugbon, Leyte, Leyte attended not just for activities, but for ๐™จ๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ช๐™–๐™ก ๐™œ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™ฉ๐™, ๐™›๐™š๐™ก๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™จ๐™๐™ž๐™ฅ, and a ๐™™๐™š๐™š๐™ฅ๐™š๐™ง ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ง ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ ๐™‚๐™ค๐™™.

There was laughter in every corner, excitement in every game, and unity in every moment, but beyond all these, ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—บ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜. ๐Ÿ™Œ

The theme โ€œ๐™”๐™ค๐™ช๐™ฉ๐™ ๐™๐™ฃ๐™™๐™š๐™ง ๐™‹๐™ง๐™š๐™จ๐™จ๐™ช๐™ง๐™šโ€ reminded us that in a world full of burdens and expectations, we are not called to rely on ourselves, but to ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น๐—น๐˜† ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ. We were taught that ๐˜„๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜ (๐ถ๐‘œ๐‘™๐‘œ๐‘ ๐‘ ๐‘–๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘  2:10), and that ๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—น๐˜† ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐—›๐—ถ๐—บ.

Through the preaching of Godโ€™s Word, lives were challenged and encouraged:

We learned that ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ธ ๐˜‚๐˜€, instead ๐—ถ๐˜ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐˜‚๐˜€. It ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™–๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™จ ๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง ๐™›๐™–๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™, ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™š๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š๐™ฃ๐™จ ๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง ๐™ฌ๐™–๐™ก๐™ , and ๐™™๐™ง๐™–๐™ฌ๐™จ ๐™ช๐™จ ๐™˜๐™ก๐™ค๐™จ๐™š๐™ง ๐™ฉ๐™ค ๐™‚๐™ค๐™™. Not all pressure comes from Him, and we must learn to let go of unnecessary burdens and focus on what truly matters, and that is ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™ก๐™ž๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ƒ๐™ž๐™จ ๐™’๐™ค๐™ง๐™™ (Luke 10:42).

This camp became more than just an event, as it became a ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ญ, ๐˜ด๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ, and ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ. Hearts were touched, lives were changed, and many were reminded that Godโ€™s strength is unlimited, even when ours is not.

For three days, the young people gathered not just to compete, but to grow, to fellowship, and to be reminded of a greater calling. Each game was filled with laughter, energy, and unity , yet beyond the excitement, God was working in every heart.

The theme โ€œ๐‘พ๐’Š๐’•๐’‰๐’‰๐’๐’๐’… ๐‘ต๐’๐’• ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’š ๐‘บ๐’˜๐’๐’“๐’…โ€ echoed through every service which reminds us that ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐’๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ฐ๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐†๐จ๐, and we are not to hold it back. We are called to ๐™™๐™ง๐™–๐™ฌ ๐™ž๐™ฉ ๐™—๐™ค๐™ก๐™™๐™ก๐™ฎ, to ๐™ก๐™ž๐™ซ๐™š ๐™ž๐™ฉ ๐™›๐™–๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™๐™›๐™ช๐™ก๐™ก๐™ฎ, and to ๐™จ๐™๐™–๐™ง๐™š ๐™ž๐™ฉ ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™๐™ค๐™ช๐™ฉ ๐™›๐™š๐™–๐™ง.

Through the preaching of Godโ€™s Word, young people's hearts were convicted and stirred. We were reminded that ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ท๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜“๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฒ๐˜ถ๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด ๐™จ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™š๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ฎ, ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง๐™–๐™œ๐™š, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ข ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ก๐™ก๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ฃ๐™š๐™จ๐™จ ๐™ฉ๐™ค ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™›๐™ž๐™ง๐™ข ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™ช๐™ฉ๐™. This Sports Fest became more than just an event as it became a time of spiritual awakening, where lives were touched and challenged to be fully committed to Godโ€™s work.

As the days came to an end, the joy of fellowship remained, but more importantly, the message stayed in our hearts. May we continue to ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ, to ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต๐—ต๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐—ถ๐˜, and to ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ wherever we go.
