Isa ini ka tradisyon nga puno sang mga bulak, debosyon, kag paglaum. Ang Catholic Women’s League Leon Unit nangin kabahin sang matahom nga selebrasyon, nagdala sang bulak kag pagtuo sa altar sang Ginoo. Padayon ang pag-alagad, pagtuo, kag paghiliusa sa simbahan!"

Last Sunday, January 19th, marked the Feast of the Santo Niño, a celebration deeply rooted in Philippine history. In 1521, upon the arrival of Ferdinand Magellan, a statue of the Child Jesus was presented to Rajah Humabon and his wife, Hara Humamay, as a gift upon their Christian baptism. This significant event marked the beginning of Christianity in the Philippines.

Centuries later, the original image was rediscovered amidst the ruins of Cebu City, a miraculous event that further solidified the devotion to the Santo Niño. Today, the Feast of the Santo Niño continues to be celebrated with vibrant processions, colorful dances, and heartfelt prayers, reflecting the enduring faith and cultural heritage of the Filipino people.

"A heartwarming scene unfolded today, December 23rd, at the Saint Catherine of Alexandria Parish Convent. The Junior CWL, Senior CWL (Catholic Women's League), and the MBG (Mother Butler's Guild) joined forces to pack an abundance of goods generously donated by the wonderful people of Leon. These gifts, a testament to the kindness and compassion within our community, will soon bring joy and warmth to those in need during the holiday season. "On the beautiful day of October 19, 2024, the heartwarming celebration of love unfolded with the Mass Wedding hosted by the CWL Leon Unit. In the serene surroundings of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish Church, 12 couples took a significant step in their lives, pledging their love and commitment to one another in a joyous ceremony that brought families and friends together.

As the sun shone down and hearts swelled with emotion, each couple's unique love story was honoured, reminding us all of the power of unity and faith. The event was not only a celebration of individual relationships but also a reflection of the community coming together to support and uplift these couples as they embark on their journey of marriage.

May their vows inspire others, and their love stories flourish in the years to come. Here’s to new beginnings, shared dreams, and a lifetime filled with love and happiness! Congratulations to these lovely couples!

In God's grace, we are destined to meet, talk, and share our life experiences. As members of the Juniors CWL, young servants of God, we firmly believe in our talents and our faith. We are deeply grateful for those who recognize and value our passion and our ability to show the world what it means to be young women of Christ. We strive to always follow our hearts in doing what is right, becoming role models for other young people.

We thank you for sharing your life experiences with us. May your words, guidance, and prayers resonate deeply with the young women who hear them. Through your wisdom, may they be enlightened with kindness and goodness, and may they pass on what they’ve learned, becoming positive examples to others—just as you have been to us.
