HAPPY FEAST OF ST. BARTHOLOMEW! 🤎

Today, August 24, we celebrate the feast of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus and a faithful witness to the Gospel.

May St. Bartholomew inspire us to follow Christ with courage, sincerity, and unwavering faith. Like the Apostles, may we never be afraid to proclaim the Good News and remain faithful to Jesus wherever He calls us.

Prayer to Our Lady of Salvation

Our Lady of Salvation,
we come to thank you
for all the graces and blessings
you have showered upon us.
We want to consecrate
ourselves to you.
We are yours and
we want to be yours forever
for to be yours is to be God's.

Our Lady of Salvation,
give us a living faith in your Son and a living charity for all men.
Save us from errors of the mind and errors of the heart.
Be our guiding light
during our earthly pilgrimage,
be our strength in the
storms and stresses of life.

Our Lady of Salvation,
you are the Mother of Christ,
you are our Queen and Mother,
you are our Heavenly Patroness,
you are our life,
our sweetness and our hope
and we love you.

Happy Feast Day, Saint Lazarus of Bethany🤎

Dear Saint Lazarus, friend of Christ Incarnate and patron of the poor and the sick. I request your intercession, with the aid of the Holy Spirit; May the Lord, Who prefigured His Resurrection through your own miraculous rising, always guide me in my earthly pilgrimage and protect me in sickness and in health. Together with Saint Martha and Saint Mary, you welcomed the Savior into your home. May I do the same by welcoming Jesus into my heart and serving Him faithfully in my brothers and sisters. Help me to imitate Christ more perfectly.

Holy St. Lazarus give me the strength to overcome all temptation and difficulty. May your witness inspire me to have faith and hope in Jesus, especially amid great trial. Pray that I will display heroic virtue and persevere in love so as to merit to be received by God into the halls of heaven. I ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who lives and reigns with the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever.

Happy Feast Day, Saint Mary of Bethany💚

Prayer to St. Mary of Bethany

O holy St. Mary of Bethany,
faithful disciple and friend of our Lord Jesus Christ,
you chose the better part
by sitting at the feet of the Savior
and listening to His holy word.

Teach me to seek the presence of Jesus
above all the distractions of this world.
Help me to love Him with a sincere heart
and to remain attentive to His voice.

Like you, may I learn to offer my love to Christ
with humility and devotion,
placing Him always at the center of my life.

Pray for me that my heart may always long
for the presence of the Lord
and that I may faithfully follow Him each day.

patron of homes and families,

Help us to place our trust in God

Bethany Siblings; Companions of the Lord Jesus
July 29 | Memorial

Today, the Church honors Saints Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, siblings and dear friends of Jesus, who welcomed Him into their home in Bethany.

MARTHA showed devoted service and hospitality. MARY exemplified contemplative love, sitting at Jesus' feet. LAZARUS, raised from the dead, bore witness to Christ’s power over death. Together, they teach us how to serve, listen, and believe.

[Let us pray] Heavenly Father, your Son called Lazarus from the grave and sat at table in the house of Bethany. May we serve him faithfully in our brethren and with Mary ponder and feed upon his Word. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

HAPPY FEAST DAY, ST. JAMES THE GREATER!
July 25, 2026

From a simple fisherman to one of Christ's closest Apostles—St. James the Greater reminds us that God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

When Jesus said, "Follow Me," James left everything behind without hesitation. He chose faith over comfort, mission over security, and eventually gave his life for the Gospel as the first Apostle to be martyred.

No matter who you are or where you are in life, Jesus is still calling hearts today. Will you answer as St. James did?

🙏 On this feast day, let us pray for the courage to trust God's plans, to follow Him wholeheartedly, and to remain faithful even when the journey is difficult.
