Today in our Corporate Service, we gathered together in our Covenant Circle and were reminded that God is growing something in each of us.

We reflected on faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control as fruits of a life led by the Holy Spirit. Faith is not just believing, it is choosing to remain faithful even when the journey is difficult. Gentleness is learning to surrender our reactions and allow God to work through us. And self-control is allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our words, emotions, choices, and actions so we can love well.

As we continue walking with the Lord, may our faith grow deeper, our hearts become gentler, and our lives bear fruit in His appointed time.

May we be found faithful until Jesus Christ returns.

Yesterday was such a beautiful time of celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) together.

As we reflected on the Fall Feasts of the Lord, we were reminded of how God continually calls us closer to Him, to wake up, return to Him, be renewed, and walk in His purposes. And now, in Sukkot, we are reminded to rejoice in His presence, remember His faithfulness, and celebrate His provision and protection.

More than the celebration itself, Sukkot reminded us of something simple but powerful: God desires to dwell among His people and in our homes.

So as we continue celebrating, we also pray for our families, for healing where there is brokenness, restoration where there is hurt, unity where there is division, and God’s presence in every home. We pray that our children and the generations to come will know the Lord, walk in His truth, and carry a faith that will bless others.

May our homes become places where God is welcomed, where His love is experienced, and where His presence is passed on from one generation to another.

May we continue to walk with Him, trust Him, and make room for His presence in our lives and families.

Chag Sukkot Sameach! 🌿

The Feast of Tabernacles is a celebration of God’s faithfulness, provision, and presence. After the gathering of the harvest, Israel was commanded to rejoice—not alone, but together: families, servants, Levites, strangers, the fatherless, and widows. Sukkot reminds us that the blessings we receive are meant to become a reason for shared joy and generous living.

As we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles and our Family Day, may this be a time to rejoice in the goodness of God, remember His faithfulness, and gather as families in His presence.

Let us come together and let every generation be represented before the Lord.

May this Sukkot call us back to the simplicity of dwelling with God, rejoicing in His faithfulness, and making room for others at our table.

Shabbat Shalom, Beloved Forwarding Family!

Chag Sukkot Sameach! 🌿

As we enter the Feast of Tabernacles in the year 5787, we are reminded that God is calling His people not merely to move forward, but to abide in His presence as we do.

Sukkot is a celebration of dwelling — remembering how the Lord sheltered His people in the wilderness and faithfully journeyed with them. In this Year of the Sword, may we remember that the sword is not only a weapon for battle; it is the Word of God that establishes, separates, purifies, and equips His people for the journey ahead.

“For the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me.” — Psalm 27:5

May our families become tabernacles of His presence — places of refuge, worship, prayer, truth and shalom. May we be hidden in Him, strengthened by His Word, and prepared to advance according to His purposes.

This Sukkot, may we remember that the the Sword—the Word that became flesh dwells amongs us.

COMPASSION OF THE LORD OUR REDEEMER

“‘For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,’ says the Lord your Redeemer.”
— Isaiah 54:7–8

As Yom Kippur culminates, we stand in awe of a God whose mercy is greater than our failures and whose covenant love never ends. The Days of Awe call us not only to repentance, but to return—to be restored, cleansed, and reconciled to the One who redeems us.

May we carry the grace of forgiveness, the purity of a surrendered heart, and the assurance of His everlasting kindness into the days ahead.

YOM KIPPUR 5787 | DAY OF ATONEMENT

THE BLOOD THAT FORGIVES AND CLEANSES

“Jesus Christ, the Righteous One—He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins.” — 1 John 2:2

Yom Kippur points us to the perfect and finished work of Jesus Christ, our Atonement. Through His Blood, the way is opened for us to return to the presence of God.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9

Forgiveness is freely given through His finished work. But cleansing calls for our response—to walk in the light, confess our sins, and appropriate the power of His Blood.

The Blood of Jesus does not merely remove the record of our sins. It cleanses us from every defilement that hinders our fellowship with God.
Today, let us come without hiding or pretending, surrendering every hidden place to the One who alone can make us clean.

May we walk in the light, remain in fellowship with Him, and live as a people continually cleansed and consecrated by the Blood of the Lamb.

BREAK UP THE UNPLOWED GROUND.

“Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love… for it is time to seek the LORD, until He comes and showers His righteousness on you.” — Hosea 10:12

Repentance is not merely turning away from sin—it is preparing the soil of our hearts for God’s righteousness to take root.

The Days of Awe invite us to examine what has become hardened, neglected, or unfruitful within us.

In 5787, the Year of the Sword, may the Word of God break through every hardened place, awaken our hunger for His presence, and make our lives fertile ground for His purposes.

Welcome the breaking.
Sow righteousness.
Make room for His rain.

A HEART THAT CRIES FOR CLEANSING

“Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love… Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” — Psalm 51:1–2

True repentance is more than regret over what we have done. It is the humble cry of a heart that longs to continually be made clean before the King.

In the Days of Awe, may we come without excuses, trusting not in our own righteousness but in His unfailing love.

As we journey through 5787, the Year of the Sword, let His Word search the deepest places within us and prepare us for wholehearted obedience.

Lord, create in us clean hearts and renew steadfast spirits.
