Bicol Bible Baptist Church "Exalt God, Extend His Kingdom"

01/05/2026

Jesus made it clear.. what you treasure shows where your heart really is.

If everything we’re holding onto is temporary,
don’t be surprised if the mission feels distant.

Because your giving… your going… even your praying
they all flow from what you value most.

And then there’s how we see life.

You can be busy, and still miss the mission.
Active, but not making an eternal impact.
Successful, but not truly faithful.

It all comes down to vision.

What are you really living for?

Because at the center of it all is this
who’s your Master?

You can’t serve two.
And whoever leads your life… will shape your mission.

If Christ is truly Lord, it shows
in where you’re willing to go,
in how you’re willing to give,
in how you choose to live.

But for many, it’s not indifference.. it’s fear.

Fear of not having enough.
Fear of losing control.
Fear of stepping into the unknown.

And that fear slowly pulls us away from the mission.

But Jesus reminds us
your Father knows what you need.

Watch the full message and be challenged
when eternity is in focus, the mission becomes clear.

It is a joy to see how beautifully God is working through your life and your heart for the church. May God continue to bless your heart for service and shine His light through everything you do for His kingdom. Praying that this year brings you even closer to Him.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you.

Blessed birthday Sis. Len

Missions was never meant to be a one-man effort.

In the New Testament, when believers were sent out, they weren’t just told “go”.. they were sent forward. Supported. Equipped. Accompanied.

That’s the picture behind the word propempō
to send with care, with provision, with commitment.

Not just releasing… but backing them every step of the way.

Because missions is not just the missionary’s responsibility.
It’s the church’s calling.

We don’t just give names to pray for
we become partners in the work.

We don’t just send financially
we send with heart, with relationship, with real involvement.

From the early church, we see this clearly:

They sent with love.
They sent with sacrifice.
They sent so that nothing would be lacking.

And when they did.. they weren’t just helping…
they were sharing in the mission itself.

That’s the weight of it.

When you support missions, you’re not on the sidelines.
You’re part of the harvest.

Watch the full message and be reminded
missions is not a solo work, it’s a shared calling with eternal impact.

Another night of privilege for the church members to come together for the sake of the Gospel, which is the only hope of every man to be saved from eternal damnation.
Thanks to the obedient response of 21 members ( senior citizen, ladies, men, Young Pro and young people) last night. Some who regulary join were not able to come due to some unavoidable situation.
Others are continually encouraged to join and experience the joy of being used by the Lord in the divine assignment that He gave us(Matthew 28:19-20).

Psalm 51 takes us to a place most people try to avoid
honest repentance.

After sin, how do you come to God?

Do you explain it away… or do you plead for mercy?

Real repentance doesn’t negotiate.
It surrenders.

“God, be merciful to me.”

And then it goes deeper.

No more softening the language.
No more shifting the blame.

Just this “Lord, I acknowledge my sin.”

Because until we agree with God about our sin, nothing really changes.

And maybe that’s why some feel stuck
saved, but no joy… going through the motions, but something’s missing.

Unconfessed sin will do that.

So the prayer becomes real:

“Cleanse me.”
“Change me.”
“Restore my joy.”

And when it’s genuine, it shows.

True repentance doesn’t stay internal.
It changes how you live—your words, your thoughts, your direction.

Not perfection—but a clear turning.

And it doesn’t stop with you.

Sin affects others.
So repentance also means making things right—rebuilding what was broken, restoring what was damaged.

Because the kind of heart God blesses…
is not proud, not defensive—

but broken, honest, and ready to change.

Watch the full message and be reminded—God doesn’t reject a broken heart… He restores it.

THE BROKEN HEART GOD BLESSES

In Acts 28, Paul didn’t stop—
even when everything around him said he should.

He was stranded.
Shipwrecked, uncertain, far from where he planned to be.

Still… he served.

Then he was bitten.
Hurt, attacked, in pain.

Still… he served.

Then he was slandered.
Misjudged, criticized, talked about.

Still… he served.

That’s the kind of faith that doesn’t quit.

Because serving God isn’t based on comfort, circumstances, or people’s opinions.
It’s anchored in calling.

Like Paul said—his life wasn’t about ease, but about finishing what God gave him to do.

So the question is:

What makes you stop?

When things don’t go your way… when it gets hard… when people misunderstand…

Do you step back—or keep going?

Watch the full message and be reminded—
real service continues, no matter the situation.

Jonah knew God… but his heart wasn’t aligned with God’s mission.

And if we’re honest, that can be true for us too.

So what should really move us?

First, God’s mercy.

We were not saved because we deserved it.
It was grace. Kindness. Patience.

And if we’ve received that kind of mercy… how can we keep it to ourselves?

Second, God’s mandate.

The call is clear.
Go. Preach. Reach.

This was never optional—it’s the assignment given to every believer.

Third, the mission itself.

There are still people who don’t know.
Still lives waiting to be reached.

This is why the church exists, Not just to gather, but to go.

And at the center of it all, the message.

The gospel.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

That’s what changes lives.

But in the end, it comes down to this

The same question God asked Jonah… He’s asking us:

Is your comfort more important than His compassion?
Is the material more important than the spiritual?
Is the temporary more important than the eternal?

Those are not easy questions.
But they’re necessary.

Watch the full message and be challenged. Missions isn’t just a program, it’s the heart of God calling us to respond.
