Our Lay Liturgical Ministers renewed their commitment in the presence of our community during the 6:00 p.m. Mass for Pentecost Sunday presided over by Rev. Fr. Jeronimo Sevilla.

In his homily, he hopes that the congregation present may also be inspired by the dedication of these individuals who once again renew their commitment to foster a full, conscious, and active participation in the Mass and in the life of the Church.

Our community held a simple living rosary to cap the visit of Our Lady of Salvation.

Join us tomorrow in bidding farewell to the image of our Diocesan Patroness:

“Do whatever HE tells you. (John 2:5)”

Yesterday, parishioners and devotees gathered around the altar of grace for the Concelebrated Mass in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, presided over by Rev. John Luke A. Andes, together with our Fatima Priests, and clergy from the diocese, other dioceses, and religious communities.

In his homily, Fr. Andes highligted that the message during the Wedding Feast at Cana and that of Fatima is the same — to do what the Lord tells us — through prayer, penance, and living holy and honest lives.

This year’s fiesta is not just an event, said Mrs. Marlyn Paje, PPC Lay Co-Chair, but a celebration of faith in action.

On Sunday, May 17, the Pilgrim Image of Nuestra Señora de Salvación will be visiting our community. Below is the schedule of activities:

9:15 a.m. - ETD from Albay Cathedral to OLFP
9:30 a.m. - ETA at OLFP and Welcome Rites
10:00 a.m. - Welcome Mass (English)
4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - Mass
7:00 p.m. - Living Rosary

The image will be transferred to St. Jude's Parish on May 18.
