On this EDSA People Power Anniversary, the **Diocesan Commission on Youth – Diocese of Legazpi** joins the nation in honoring the ordinary Filipinos who chose peace over violence and faith over fear. EDSA reminds us that when hearts stand together for truth, justice, and dignity, change becomes possible.

As young people of the Church, may we continue to be *builders of hope* — speaking for what is right, protecting the vulnerable, and choosing compassion even when it is difficult. Freedom is not only a gift we celebrate; it is a responsibility we live every day.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

In preparation for the 17th Diocesan Youth Way of the Cross in Kawa-Kawa Hill, Ligao City, the youth of St. Gregory the Great attended the Pre-Formation Activity this February 22, 2026z

This year's DYWC theme is "𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻... 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿, '𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸" (John 4:7). 🧡

We invite you to the upcoming annual Lenten Activity, 17𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗜𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦 on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 7, 2026 (𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆) at the Carmelite Monastery of the Divine Mercy and Kawa-Kawa Hill, Tuburan, Ligao City. With the theme "𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻... 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿, '𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸" (John 4:7). 🧡
