ＥＡＳＴＥＲ ＳＵＮＤＡＹ

“𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞; 𝐇𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧!”

Last April 05, 2026, at around 5:00 in the morning, the traditional Salubong was held at Bigaa Elementary School Covered Court. The community joyfully celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ; a powerful reminder of hope, renewal, and God’s unending love.

From the early morning “Salubong,” a cherished Filipino tradition depicting the meeting of the Risen Christ and the Blessed Mother, joined by angels and saints, to the solemn and joyful celebration of the Holy Mass, the day beautifully reflects the transition from sorrow to victory.

This was then followed by the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Levie Euprepes C. Quitasol, bringing the community together in prayer, thanksgiving, and celebration of Christ's victory over death.

Families come together in prayer and thanksgiving, sharing meals and cherishing moments of unity after the sacred observance of Holy Week.

May the Risen Christ inspire hearts to remain faithful, hopeful, and renewed in spirit; not only today, but always.

Christ is risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!

𝗩𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗔𝗟

St. Vincent Ferrer Parish of Bigaa, Legazpi City, solemnly celebrated the Vigilia Pascual on April 04, 2026 at 8:30 PM, the highest and most sacred liturgy of the Church, marking the transition from darkness to light and from death to new life.

The celebration began with the Liturgy of Light, where the blessed fire symbolized Christ as the Light of the world, dispelling darkness and bringing hope. This was followed by the Liturgy of the Word, proclaiming God’s saving works, and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, where the community renewed their baptismal promises as a sign of renewed faith and commitment.

This sacred vigil reminded us that even in silence, God continues to work, and that every sacrifice offered in love is never in vain.

Happy Easter, everyone. May we live in a way that makes His sacrifices worth it. 🤍
