𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 2026 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 & 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧 ✏️
Before the camp ended with bags full of enjoyment, gratitude, learning, and realization, many things had to be done just to make it happen. We faced situations that felt completely over our heads— too complex circumstances and unexpected obstacles to deal with. Besides, some of us were carrying responsibilities at work and school, constantly wondering how long we could balance our ministries without letting the other suffer. At one point, we even questioned ourselves: “Can we still achieve the best camp for the youth?”
However, we realized we had forgotten one critical thing: to rely on God. We had allowed ourselves to be led by worry, fear, and doubt, which made us restless. We tried to figure everything out and resolve it through our own strength, when in fact, we cannot do this independently.
Once we examined our hearts, we laid all our difficulties down before Him. We knew that if we continued to depend on our own understanding, we would be defeated by negativity. Soon after, our heavy burdens had lessened, and we were back on track.
Despite the exhaustion and sacrifices behind the scenes and during the ex*****on, gladness still prevailed among us. We witnessed the excitement of the campers from the moment they boarded the boat until they arrived at the island— the very first time the camp has been held there. We watched them thoroughly enjoy the games, conquering various challenges across water, land, and mud. We were also moved by their dedication to composing original songs and performing skit presentations related to the theme.
Moreover, we were deeply impressed by the team's courage in sharing the Gospel through tract distribution and children's ministry across two barangays. Despite the oppressive and humid heat, they pushed through to accomplish their mission: to make the living God we serve known to the people!
Now, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who became part of this success. We thank Tanagan Elementary School for serving as our temporary home, and SK Tanagan for encouraging their youth to join. We are grateful to the Barangay Public Safety Officers who kept us safe as our night guards, as well as the WMU and Baptist Men from New Life in Christ - Tanagan Church, who supported us through various needs and circumstances. Also to our Pastors, who delivered God's message, to the youth representatives who stepped up as staff, and to the campers who actively participated. Of course, the main reason this camp succeeded is our God, who guided and helped us from the very beginning.
This marks the last camp (as a major annual event) of our term. Next year, a new set of officers will be elected with fresh concepts and activities, but they will carry the same goal— to unite and equip us as young Christians.
We hope and pray that the enthusiasm to worship God we saw in you during camp will last until the end. Guard your hearts and keep going in serving Him. Whatever adversities you face, remember that Christ is with you— seek Him first.
