What a grace-filled celebration of the Feast of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati!

Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the Holy Mass, formation, and fellowship. To the young altar servers from the different schools and parishes who accepted our invitation and spent their day with us, thank you. We hope that through this gathering, you encountered the beauty of the Dominican spirituality, discovered the witness of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, and found new friends in faith.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Herbert Canar (Parochial Vicar of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish - Legazpi) for presiding the Holy Mass, and to the Dominican Studentate Team Preaching for generously sharing their gifts of proclaiming Gods goodness in our Order, with us. To our Lay Dominican brothers and sisters from the different communities and chapters whose presence we also appreciate throughout this celebration especially to Sis. Antonia Edna B. Roa, O.P. for her unfathomable guidance to our community.

May St. Pier Giorgio Frassati continue to inspire us to pursue holiness with joy, simplicity, and courage.

This is only the beginning.

𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

We are grateful to God for the grace of joining the 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, yesterday, March 7, 2026 at the Divine Mercy Shrine and Monastery of the Carmelite Nuns of the Holy Trinity, Philippines, Carmel Heights, Kawa-Kawa Hills, Tuburan, Ligao City, beautifully held on the birthday of St. Thomas Aquinas.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Most. Rev. Joel Baylon, D.D. (Bishop of the Diocese of Legazpi), and to Rev. Fr. Drocs Quinzon De Vera (DYC Chair), and to St. Raphael the Archangel Commission on Youth for inviting the Lay Dominicans of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati Community to take part in the formation seminar in preparation for this diocesan gathering of young pilgrims.

We are also thankful for the chance to meet and share with the Altar Servers from St. Joseph the Worker Parish - Banquerohan, Legazpi City, Albay. It was a joy to talk about our Lord Jesus as well as the life of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati especially his simple and powerful reminder to young people: 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼 𝗹'𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼! 𝗧𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀!

Thank you, Lord, for these small encounters that strengthen our faith and remind us we journey together. We continue to pray for all the young people who have the desire to be part of our small community to serve God and His people through the intercession of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph, and our Holy Father St. Dominic de Guzman.
