some small sacrificeโ€ โ€” St. Thรฉrรจse of the Child Jesus

Today, we remember St. Thรฉrรจse of the Child Jesus, known for her simple yet profound way of living out her love for God. She found holiness not in great accomplishments, but in offering ordinary moments with a sincere heart.

Her life teaches us that kindness, patience, and small acts of love can become meaningful expressions of faith. Even in the simplest things, we are given opportunities to love and serve.

May St. Thรฉrรจse inspire us to trust God more deeply, remain humble in our daily lives, and choose love even in the smallest moments.

โ€œBe not afraid, for God has heard your prayer.โ€ โ€” St. Raphael the Archangel

On this special day, we honor St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, the three archangels who faithfully serve God and carry out His will.

St. Michael reminds us to be strong and brave in facing the challenges that come our way. St. Gabriel teaches us to be open to Godโ€™s message and to have the courage to say yes to His calling. St. Raphael reminds us that God is always present to guide, protect, and care for us.

As we celebrate their feast, may we ask for their intercession and follow their example of faithful service to God and to others.

St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, pray for us.
May we always be guided by faith, protected by Godโ€™s grace, and willing to follow wherever He leads us.

VICARIATE YOUTH CROSS | BRGY. GUA-AN, LEGANES, ILOILO

Last September 6,2026 another meaningful journey of faith, friendship, and service as the Vicariate Youth Cross continues its mission and was warmly welcomed by the youth and community of Brgy. Guaan, Leganes, Iloilo.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Apostolic Council (BAC), Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), and Barangay Officials of Brgy. Guaan for warmly welcoming us and supporting this activity, and opening your community to this kind of event.

May the Cross remind us that wherever we go, Jesus walks with us, calls us, and sends us to be His witnesses. May this experience inspire every young person to grow closer to God and become a light to others.

Today, we celebrate the feast of St. Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint and martyr. His life was a testament to unwavering faith, courage, and complete trust in God, even when faced with great trials.

His example reminds us that faith is not only shown in moments of comfort, but also in times when we are tested. May we learn from his courage to remain faithful, trust in Godโ€™s will, and live with conviction in our daily lives.

Today's Gospel shares about the parable of the two brothers in their father's vineyard. The first son denied his father's request to work in their vineyard but later changed his mind. The second son, while promising to work in the vineyard, failed to keep and folow his father's orders.

Jesus' words reflect the duality of man and humanity itself. But most importantly, he reminds us that to enter the kingdom of God, one need not be limited to the actions of their pastโ€”only to carry true remorse and deep faith for God the Father and His salvation. We are reminded that regardless of human laws and human judgement, only God's love and laws prevail. And it is by His laws that saves even sinners from Hell.

Until then, even if the righteous or the reformed sinners lead the path to the kingdom of Heaven, we cannot change the minds of the skeptics. We cannot change the mind of the hypocrites. Because to say they were wrong otherwise, undermines man's pride. And that is why God is truly the most benevolent of all.
