From the Cross, His thirst goes beyond the bodyโ€”it reveals His burning desire for humanity to return to Him, to be restored, and to experience the fullness of His mercy. In His Third Word, Jesus entrusts us to one another in love. Even in the midst of His suffering, He did not forget the needs of others. From the Cross, He placed His mother in the care of the beloved disciple, forming a new family rooted not in blood, but in love, compassion, and responsibility for one another.
