How would you feel if you couldn't push through another season of your life?
The truth is, there is always a season of change coming, and we need to prepare for it.
In Deuteronomy 31:1–3, we read about Moses. He was told that he would no longer lead the people into the Promised Land.
But, here's the comfort: the Lord would cross over ahead of him.
Pastor Pros helped us understand four important truths from this passage:
1. We have a Lord who is ahead of us.
2. We have a Lord who walks with us.
3. We have a Lord who does not leave us.
4. We have a Lord who does not let go of us.
Through the lens of the New Covenant, we see God's provision clearly.
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:31–32)
This is the language of provision. And faith is our positive response to this theological truth.
So what do we learn from this?
· We should rest in the finished work of Christ at the cross.
Our faith simply declares: "I believe God is for me."
Pastor Pros reminded us that we don't need more faith; we need to find our rest in God's goodness and grace.
He quoted Dr. Paul Ellis: "When you consider His awesome goodness, faith begins to work."
· We should renew our minds and be persuaded that God has already given us His Son.
Look at these two promises:
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you..." (2 Corinthians 9:8)
These verses show us how God provides: through Christ. God is able to make all grace abound toward you.
These are the reminders we need when facing seasons of change:
See God's provision through the lens of the cross.
He is ahead of you. He is with you. He will not leave you. And He will never let you go.
Walking in God's provision means waking up each morning and reminding yourself: God has already provided everything I need in Christ.
Step into your day with confidence in His abundance.
