⛺️ YOUTHCAMP SEASON IS HERE! Anong year ka nag Camp? 🤗

18/02/2026

Today, Lent begins.

Ash Wednesday is not just a tradition — it is an invitation. An invitation to pause, to reflect, and to return to God with a sincere and humble heart. The ashes marked on our foreheads remind us of our humanity — that life is fragile, time is fleeting, and everything we have is by grace alone.

As Lent begins today, let's choose to surrender the things that harden our hearts.

Let's choose prayer over worry, faith over fear, and obedience over comfort.

May this season teach us to fast not only from food, but from pride, negativity, comparison, and doubt.
May it shape us into someone softer, kinder, and more anchored in Christ.

Lent is not about being perfect —
It's about coming home to the Father, again and again. 🤍

Lord, create in us a clean heart.

Our last sharer, Kuya Gibo, spoke about his challenges—even moments when he felt like giving up. 𝘠𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝.

It took reaching one of his darkest moments for him to realize that God has been shaping him into a person of strength, someone who can stand as a symbol of hope and a steady anchor for others.

May we be like Kuya Gibo–ready to take on the challenge, ready 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲, 𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘣𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘴: 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭, 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨.

Ate Lalaine talked about her great pain–the reason for her isolation and the reason why she doubts herself but joining the community, she learned to surrender. She learned to let go and find hope–allowing herself to feel all the heaviness in her heart which led her to finding peace, to finding God. She said, “𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩–𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦,” acknowledging God at every step of her journey. 👣

Most of us, Ates and Kuyas, carry pain and suffering everyday but what we don’t see, God carries us too. 🤝 God feels our pain and suffering too–𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫.
