In Matthew 6, Jesus taught us:
📃 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴: "𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨..." (Matt. 6:3-4)
📃 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴: "𝘎𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮, 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺..." (Matt. 6:6)
📃 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: "𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳... 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘰𝘣𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴." (Matt. 6:16-18)
If these are good actions, why does God want them kept private?
𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. Just as He cares about what we do, He cares about why we do it.
When no one is looking, our private actions reveal the true posture of our hearts before Him, shaping our character in the process.
Let God guide your actions and purify your intentions, so you may live for an 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗻𝗲. ✨
" ...𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵, 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶."
