Join us for our Sandwich & Salad Making Fellowship immediately after our Worship Service this Sunday, July 26, 2026. Together, we'll prepare fresh and nutritious sandwiches and salads while enjoying meaningful fellowship, laughter, and community.

Ang Philippines Regional Conference – Board of Church and Society ay taos-pusong nagpapahayag ng lubos na pagpapasalamat sa pagkahalal ni Vanessa Jane Dabay ng Quezon City Philippines Annual Conference (QCPACE) bilang Tagapangulo ng Kalipunan ng Kristyanong Kabataan ng Pilipinas (3KP) para sa bienyum 2026–2028.

Kinikilala ng Board ang ambag ng mga kabataan sa malikhaing pagkilos at pag-adhika ng isang lipunang nararanasan ang pagmamahal ng Diyos. Isang lipunang maunlad ang buhay ng karaniwang mamamayan at hindi ng iilan. Isang lipunang may kapayapaan at katarungan. Ngayon, higit sa lahat, ang masidhing pangangailangan sa mga kabataang simbahan upang tumindig at tanggihan ang kasamaan, na lubos na nagdudulot ng kahirapan sa mga Pilipino.

Kinikilala rin ng Board ang patuloy na pagpapayaman ng ugnayang Ekyumenikal na nagsisilbing matibay na saligan ng pagkakaisa ng katawan ni Kristo. Ang ganitong ugnayan ay buhay na patotoo sa sinasabi sa Roma 12:5, “gayundin naman, kahit na tayo'y marami, nabubuo tayo sa iisang katawan ni Cristo, at tayong lahat ay bahagi ng isa't isa.”

Kalakip ng pahayag na ito ang patuloy na panalangin para sa mga kabataan habang sila’y nakikibahagi sa buhay ng Iglesya at lipunan.

Grateful for God’s Faithfulness | Charge Conference 2025–2026

We thank God for the successful and spirit-filled Charge Conference of Light of Life United Methodist Church.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Rev. Ismael Sarangaya, our District Superintendent, for the words of encouragement, the loving challenge to grow deeper in discipleship and stewardship, and the affirmation of God’s faithfulness at work in our church.

As we move forward, we do so with renewed hope, clearer direction, and stronger commitment to God’s mission. To God be all the glory!

We did it! 🙌

By God’s grace and through the shared efforts, sacrifices, and bayanihan spirit of our church members, Light of Life UMC has officially moved to our second-floor worship space. What once was only a vision and a prayer is now becoming a lived reality.

We joyfully mark this milestone as we held our Resurrection Sunday (Sunrise) Service for the first time in this new space—a powerful and hope-filled beginning as we celebrated the risen Christ together. This was followed by a joyful breakfast fellowship, shared by our children, youth, young adults, and adults, a beautiful picture of our church as one intergenerational family.

Our new worship area is not yet fully finished, but it already carries the faith, commitment, and love of the community that built it. We continue to hope and pray that, in God’s time, this space will be fully realized according to the vision God placed in the hearts of our members—a place for worship, fellowship, and mission.

This moment also signals the beginning of our 30th Anniversary Celebration. As we step into a new space, we also step into another season of faithful journeying, grateful for the years behind us and trusting God for the years still ahead.

✨ Pagsamba ng Linggo ✨
📖 Tema: Hosanna sa Pagdating ni Cristo
📍 Light of Life United Methodist Church

Sa linggong ito, sama-sama nating pagninilayan ang makabuluhang pagdating ni Hesus—
ang Haring dumarating hindi sa karangyaan, kundi sa kapayapaan at kababaang-loob.
📖 (Mateo 21:1–11)

Sa panahon ng Kuwaresma, inaanyayahan tayong huminto at magnilay—
hindi lamang sa sigaw ng Hosanna, kundi sa kahulugan ng pagtanggap kay Cristo
na pumasok sa kalagitnaan natin at sa ating pang-araw-araw na buhay.

Ipinapahayag ng Mabuting Balita na ang pagdating ni Cristo
ay pagdating ng kapayapaan—kapayapaang hindi lamang tinatanggap,
kundi ipinapasa at isinasabuhay.

Sa Lumang Tipan, ipinapaalala na ang Hari ay dumarating na may katarungan at kababaang-loob (Zacarias 9:9).
Sa Awit, ang bayan ay sumasambit ng papuri sa Panginoon na nagliligtas (Awit 118:25–26).
At sa Mabuting Balita, si Hesus ay pumapasok sa lungsod bilang Haring pinipiling sundan sa daan ng pagsunod.

Sa ating panahon ngayon, ang Hosanna ay hindi lamang awit,
kundi panata—
panatang sundan si Cristo kahit hindi madali,
makinig sa Kanyang tinig sa gitna ng ingay,
at mamuhay bilang mga tagapagdala ng Kanyang kapayapaan.

Inaanyayahan ang inyong pamilya at mga kaibigan na makiisa sa pagsambang ito.
Halina’t sama-sama nating salubungin si Cristo—
hindi lamang sa ating mga labi,
kundi sa ating buhay.

✨ Pagsamba ng Linggo ✨
📖 Tema: Mula sa Libingan Tungo sa Buhay

Sa linggong ito, sama-sama nating pagninilayan ang makapangyarihang pahayag ni Hesus:
“Ako ang muling pagkabuhay at ang buhay.”
📖 (Juan 11:1–45)

Sa panahon ng Kuwaresma, inaanyayahan tayong huminto at magnilay—hindi lamang sa kamatayan, kundi sa buhay na iniaalok ng Diyos sa gitna ng pagkawala, pagdurusa, at kawalan ng pag-asa. Sa kuwento ni Lazaro, ipinapakita na ang Diyos ay hindi nahuhuli, at ang libingan ay hindi ang huling salita.

Ipinahahayag ng Mabuting Balita na ang Diyos ay Diyos ng buhay—Diyos na tumatawag palabas ng libingan, bumubuhay sa mga tuyong buto, at nagbibigay ng panibagong simula.

Sa Lumang Tipan, ipinapaalala sa atin na ang Espiritu ng Diyos ay nagbibigay-buhay kahit sa mga tuyong buto (Ezekiel 37:1–14).
Sa Awit, mula sa kailaliman ay may pag-asang tumatawag sa Diyos (Awit 130).
At sa sulat ni San Pablo, sinasabi na ang Espiritu na bumuhay kay Kristo ay nananahan din sa atin (Roma 8:6–11).

Sa ating panahon ngayon, ang “libingan” ay maaaring anyo ng pagod, takot, kawalan ng direksyon, kawalang-katarungan, at mga karanasang tila pumapatay sa ating pag-asa. Ngunit tinatawag tayo ni Kristo palabas—tungo sa buhay, pag-asa, at panibagong layunin.

Inaanyayahan ang inyong pamilya at mga kaibigan na makiisa sa pagsambang ito.
Halina’t sama-sama tayong makinig sa tinig ni Kristo na tumatawag: “Lumabas ka.”
At mamuhay bilang mga taong binigyang-buhay ng Diyos.
