Sometimes, you can be hurt by the people you love, by situations you never expected, or even by things you cannot understand.
But pain is not something Jesus is unfamiliar with. He experienced rejection, betrayal, suffering, and being mistreated. In 1 Peter 2:23, even when Jesus was insulted and hurt, He chose not to retaliate but entrusted Himself to God.
This reminds that when you are hurting, You can bring your pain to God and be honest with Him.
Because even in painful seasons, God can use your experience to grow your faith and draw you closer to Him. He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He is able to heal the wounds you cannot heal on your own (Psalm 147:3).
As you heal, remember that You can acknowledge that something hurt you while still choosing to forgive and release it to God (Ephesians 4:32).
There may be days when you feel like you are not ready to move forward,
๐ถ๐๐บ๐ happened to you may be part of your story, but it does not have to define your future. God is still working, still healing, and still doing something new in your life (Isaiah 43:19).
