A Year Anchored in Hope

Amidst laughter, music, and shared moments we were reminded that hope is not absent from celebration—it is revealed through it. Beyond the simple preparations, the gathering became a space where joy was shared and relationships were strengthened. This Christmas and Year-End Celebration invited us to look beyond and discover hope in its truest form—present in shared times, giving kindness, and in the unity that reflects the season of Christmas.

As we reflect on a year filled with challenges, blessings, and learnings—we return all thanks to the Lord, who remains the source of this hope. The moments of service, cooperation, and sincere joy were reminders that Christmas hope is sustained not by grandeur, but by faithful hearts willing to serve and give. In celebrating together, we encountered Christ present in the community. Quietly working through our efforts and intentions.

May this hope extend beyond this gathering. Guiding anyone who is in need and live out the meaning of Christmas.

A New Year, One Brotherhood ✨
As we welcome the new year, we joyfully greet everyone who continues to support and journey with KOASM. We honor the strength, wisdom, and dedication of the Knights Council, our Seniors, Officers, and Westyc the kuyas who lead the ministry with humility, faith, and unwavering service.

This photo captures more than faces it reflects years of sacrifice, guidance, and brotherhood that shaped who we are today. Because of your example, KOASM stands firm not just as a ministry, but as a family rooted in service to God and His Church.

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, we honor the young martyr and patron of altar servers who gave his life to protect the Holy Eucharist. Like him, we are reminded of our own calling — to be 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒏 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒖𝒔: 𝑰𝒏 𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕, 𝑰𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆, 𝑰𝒏 𝑺𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆. 🌟

Day 9 – Saint Tarcisius, Patron Saint of Altar Servers

On this 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 of our Novena, we celebrate 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐬, 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬.

His life reminds us that 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈, a privilege that 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕.

Day 8 – Saint Tarcisius as a true friend of Jesus

On this 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 of our Novena, we honor 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬.

His closeness to Christ gave him 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒖𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕, 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.

As altar servers, may we deepen our own friendship with Jesus, drawing strength from His presence and letting our service flow from that special bond we share with Him.

Day 7 – Saint Tarcisius as a model of voluntariness

On this 𝟕𝐭𝐡 D𝐚𝐲 of our Novena, we remember 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

His service was 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒅, but freely 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.

As altar servers, may we learn to step forward with the same willing spirit—offering our time, energy, and devotion wholeheartedly to God, not because we are required, but because our hearts desire to serve Him.

Day 6 – Saint Tarcisius as a true example of humility.

On this 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 of our Novena, we honor 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Despite his youth, he carried out his mission with 𝐚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆.

His humility reminds us, especially as altar servers, that our service at the altar is not about recognition, but about faithfully offering ourselves to God and to the community.
