Serving at the altar is more than fulfilling a ministryโ€”it is a calling. It is a quiet yet profound vocation that forms hearts in Every step in procession, every reverent gesture, and every moment spent beside the altar is an offering of love to Christ.

Inspired by ๐‘บ๐’‚๐’Š๐’๐’• ๐‘ป๐’‚๐’“๐’„๐’Š๐’”๐’Š๐’–๐’”, the patron saint of altar servers, may we continue to serve with courage, reverence, and unwavering devotion. His witness reminds us that the greatest honor is not to be seen, but to faithfully serve the Lord who first called us.

This Altar Servers' Month, we celebrate every altar server who continues to answer God's call with a willing heart. Through every Mass, and moment of prayer, we are reminded that serving at the altar is not simply about carrying out duties it is about growing closer to Christ and becoming living witnesses of His love. May this celebration renew our passion to serve with reverence, strengthen our commitment to the ministry, and inspire more young people to joyfully say "yes" to God's invitation.

May this month renew our commitment to serve with joyful hearts, inspire new vocations to this beautiful ministry, and remind us that every act of faithful serviceโ€”no matter how smallโ€”is precious in the eyes of God.

Today, we celebrate not only the day you were born, but the beautiful life you lived and the countless hearts you touched. Though you are no longer with us in this world, your love, kindness, and unwavering care continue to live on in each one of us.

There are no words truly enough to describe what you meant to the NSDR-KOASM Family. To many, you were more than just Ate Mimi you were our second mother, a source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love. You welcomed us with open arms, cared for us as your own children, and never failed to remind us that we always had a place in your heart.

Thank you for every smile you shared, every meal you prepared, every prayer you offered for us, every sacrifice you made, and every act of love that asked for nothing in return. Your generosity and compassion became a blessing that shaped our ministry and our lives.

Although our hearts still ache with your absence, we find peace in knowing that you are now embraced by the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, together with Mama Mary Birhen sa Regla whom you faithfully loved and served.

On your special day, we offer not tears of sorrow alone, but prayers of gratitude gratitude for the privilege of knowing you, serving alongside you, and experiencing the love you so freely gave.

May the Lord grant you eternal peace, and may the light of Heaven shine upon you forever.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Ate Mimi.
You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts. Your memory, your love, and your legacy will remain with us always.

With our deepest love, prayers, and gratitude,
NSDR-KOASM Family ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

There are some people whose absence leaves a silence too heavy for words.

Today, our hearts mourn the loss of our beloved Ate Mimi a mother, a mentor, a guide, and a home to so many of us in KOASM.

The pain of losing you is not only in knowing that you are gone, but in realizing that there are things we will never experience the same way again.

"Wa nay mo yabo og tubig namo if dili mi mag serve."

"Wa nay masuko sa amo if dili mi mokaon."

"Wa nay mag sige og send namog daily prayers."

Simple things that once felt ordinary now break our hearts because we have come to realize that they were never ordinary at all. They were acts of loveโ€”quiet, sincere, and given without asking for anything in return.

Who will remind us to take care of ourselves the way you did?

Who will worry when we forget to eat?

Who will check on us, pray for us, and look after us with the same patience, concern, and motherly love?

You were never just a member of this ministry. You became a part of our lives, our memories, and our family.

Many of us grew up with your presence. We knew your smile, your reminders, your encouragement, and the comfort of knowing that someone was always praying for us. You carried burdens that many of us never saw, yet you continued to serve with a heart full of faith, humility, and love.

And now, as we stand before this painful goodbye, we are reminded of how precious life truly is.

If there is one thing your life taught us, it is that kindness matters. Love matters. Forgiveness matters. Service matters.

The disagreements, misunderstandings, and wounds we sometimes carry seem so small compared to the love you showed us. Your life reminds us to cherish one another, to be more patient with one another, and to remain united in faith, just as you always hoped we would be.

Though our eyes are filled with tears, our hearts remain hopeful.

Because we believe that this is not the end.

We entrust you to the loving embrace of God, whom you served so faithfully throughout your life. May the Lord reward every sacrifice, every prayer, every act of kindness, and every life you touched.

And through the loving intercession of Mama Birhen sa Regla, our patroness and mother, may she gently lead you into the eternal peace and joy of her Son. May you find rest in the Kingdom of Heaven, where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears only the fullness of God's love forever.

We humbly ask everyone to pray for the eternal repose of Ate Mimi's soul.

And as we pray for her, may we also honor her memory by becoming the kind of servants she inspired us to be humble in service, faithful in prayer, compassionate in heart, and generous in love.

Thank you, Ate Mimi.

For the water you offered.

For the meals you reminded us to eat.

For the messages and prayers you faithfully sent.

For the guidance you gave.

For the sacrifices you made.

For loving us as your own.

The altar will still be there.

The bells will still ring.

The Mass will continue.

But for the first time, we will have to do it without the person who quietly cared for us behind it all.

You may no longer walk beside us, but you will forever remain in every altar we serve, every prayer we offer, every act of kindness we share, and every heart you helped shape.

Rest in the peace of Christ, Ate Mimi.

We love you.

We thank God for your life.

And we will never forget you.

For days now, countless hearts have come together in prayer for Ate Mimi.

From family and friends, to church communities, ministries, and people she may never even know personally, an outpouring of love and faith continues to surround her. In every prayer offered, every candle lit, every Rosary prayed, and every heartfelt message sent, we are reminded of the beauty of a community united in hope.

As Ate Mimi continues her journey, we ask that you keep her in your prayers. May God grant her strength for each day, comfort in every difficulty, and healing according to His loving will. May our Blessed Mother wrap her mantle around her and accompany her every step of the way.

When many hearts pray as one, hope grows stronger. And when one person carries a heavy cross, others help carry it through faith, love, and prayer.

Today, we continue to lift Ate Mimi to the Lord, trusting that no prayer is ever unheard and no act of love is ever wasted.
