JESUS OVER EVERYTHING.

When we know Christ, we often become too complacent, thinking that knowing Him was already enough to live life and possibly—the eternal life.

But if you really want to have that eternal reward, knowing Christ is not enough.

You also have to discipline yourself, to let Him take over your life—

—Over YOUR FREEDOM—keeping in mind that you are free because of and for HIM,

over YOUR CHOICES—knowing that He has already something picked out, even much better than what you're about to choose,

and over YOUR OWN COMFORT AND SUCCESS—never forgetting our God even in our growth.

ALWAYS REMEMBER that we—who have been born again in the name of Jesus—we are not different because we are more devoted, more in numbers, more faithful, or better, it is NOT BECAUSE OF US,

but it is BECAUSE WE HAVE A LIVING GOD.

And knowing our Living God is not enough to get us out the mess, it's time to take advantage of what makes us different, don't just get introduced to Him,

GOD USES OUR PRESENCE.

Sometimes, we refuse to be present, thinking, "It will just be useless."
But you have to remember how Jesus also gave importance to fellowship.

Being present was and will never be useless. Your presence matters, even if all you have to do is show up. You don't realize just how significant your presence will be in other people's lives, at that day, at that time.

And sometimes, WE are the ANSWERED PRAYER that someone has been patiently waiting for. And oftentimes, OUR ANSWERED PRAYER is also in someone else's presence.

So when you have the chance to show up, whether it’s because you were there to serve or simply because you were invited — SHOW UP.

Because, your presence does matter.

JUST SHOW UP: The Power of Showing Up in Fellowship

Jesus prioritized gathering. He ate with His disciples. He walked with crowds. He didn’t do ministry alone.

Fellowship is more than attendance.
It’s sharing burdens. Encouraging faith. Strengthening the weak. Serving without being asked. Walking together when it’s hard.

Showing up is an act of commitment. It builds your faith. It builds the community. It reminds someone they’re not alone.

Let’s choose to be present. Not perfect. Just present.

Intimacy with God deepens our relationship with Him. It strengthens our trust and confidence in who He is.

We cultivate this closeness through three simple things: a heart that seeks Him in prayer, a mind that knows Him through His Word, and a life that honors Him in worship.

WALK THIS LIFE WITH HIM

We oftentimes rely on ourselves—trying to control everything and plan based on what we can see. When we fail, guilt and sorrow crush us. We restart, but it still feels empty.

But God never intended for us to walk this life alone. He is a Father who leads, a Shepherd who guides, and a Savior who carries. We were meant to walk this life with Him.

Today, lay it all down—the plans, the guilt, the “I got this.” And surrender it all to HIM. He is gentle, and He will give you rest. 👣✝️

BREAKTHROUGH DISCIPLINE THAT EMPOWERS.

Discipline.

It is such an important character to carry, it makes you a better person and it keeps you aligned with the plans that God has for you.

Everyday we are facing different challenges, temptations and distractions, and the consequences are not easy if ever we fall into them. So as early as now let us start to discipline ourselves,

By PRAYING to build a strong connection with God, by READING THE BIBLE to be empowered by the truth, by being a WITNESS to impact lives, by having a FELLOWSHIP for us to be empowered through community, ang by OBEYING God's words, so we may fulfill His purpose for us.

So this august, let us be firm in discipline.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. [1 Timothy 1:7]
