Pentecost Sunday celebrates the birth of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. On this holy day, the Holy Spirit came down upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary, giving them the courage to spread the Gospel to every nation.

What started in the Upper Room grew into the living Body of Christ united in belief, made holy by grace, sent to all peoples, and built on the foundation of the Apostles. The Church was not made by human hands, but brought to life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

As members of this One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, we are called to carry on Christโ€™s mission with faith, love, and courage.

Come, Holy Spirit, renew the hearts of Your faithful and set their hearts ablaze with Your love.

With grateful hearts, the parish community shares another milestone in the โ€œCover Me With Your Loveโ€ Project for the construction of the new parish church.

The installation of the roof trusses is now ongoing, marking another step closer to the completion of our house of worship. The parish sincerely thanks all benefactors, volunteers, workers, and parishioners for their continued support and prayers. May God bless you abundantly.

Today, we honor Rita of Cascia, the patroness of impossible causes. Born in Italy, she lived a life marked by hardship. Entering an arranged marriage, enduring a difficult home life, and later losing her husband and sons. Despite these trials, she chose a path of patience, forgiveness, and deep trust in God, eventually entering religious life and dedicating herself to prayer and service.

Through every suffering, she showed that faith can remain strong even in the most painful moments. When life feels overwhelming and situations seem beyond hope, her example invites us to turn to God with courage and perseverance.

With this, we humbly lift our prayers: O powerful Saint Rita, Saint of the Impossible, I come to you with trust in my need. You understand my trials, for you have endured much in life. Please intercede for me before God and pray that I may receive the grace I seek... Help me remain patient, forgiving, and faithful in all things. Amen.
