The 1689 London Baptist Confession affirms that God is "without body, parts, or passions." His wrath is not a fleeting emotion, but the fixed expression of His unchanging holiness against sin.

As Professor Emadi reminds us, this wrath is the settled, righteous opposition of a pure God to all that defiles His creation.
