✨ THE BLESSING ✨
📖 Psalm 128:1 — “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.”
The fear of the Lord is more than being afraid of God—it means honoring Him, following His commandments, and choosing to live in close relationship with Him. When God is at the center of our lives, we experience blessings that go beyond material things.
🌿 7 BLESSINGS FROM A LIFE CLOSE TO GOD
1. The Blessing of Fruitful Work
God provides what we need to experience fruitfulness, contentment, and dignity. Let us appreciate and recognize that everything we have and everything we accomplish ultimately comes from the Lord.
2. The Blessing of a Fruitful Family and Home
📖 Psalm 128:3
A wife is like a fruitful vine, and children are like olive plants—representing life, growth, potential, abundance, and fruitfulness. God desires our families to grow and flourish in love and faith.
3. The Blessing of God’s Favor
📖 Psalm 128:4
God’s favor brings a flourishing life under His order. His blessing is ultimately a manifestation of His goodness. When God’s favor rests upon us, it overflows beyond what we can contain.
4. The Blessing of God’s Presence
📖 Psalm 128:5
Wherever we go and whatever we do, God’s presence is with us. Every good and perfect gift comes from Him. Look beyond the blessings and look to the Source of the blessings—God Himself.
5. The Blessing of Seeing God’s Goodness Throughout Life
📖 Psalm 128:5
True blessing makes us concerned not only about ourselves but also about others. Be a channel of blessing. What God gives us can become a blessing to someone else. Let us be good to all, especially to those who belong to the household of faith.
6. The Blessing of Generational Legacy
📖 Psalm 128:6
One of the greatest blessings is seeing our children, grandchildren, and future generations serve the Lord faithfully. What we build in faith today can become a legacy that continues for generations.
7. The Blessing of Peace 🕊️
A life rightly ordered under God can experience peace even in difficult seasons. We may experience loss, challenges, and trials, but God never leaves us. His presence gives us strength and peace beyond our circumstances.
🙏 THE GREAT REMINDER:
Don’t just look at what God has given you—look at the One who gives every blessing.
The greatest blessing is not merely what we receive from God, but having God Himself at the center of our lives.
🌱 Fear God. Follow His ways. Stay close to Him. Be blessed—and be a blessing to others.
