The Loving Father and the Lost Sinners

In our walk with God, we often see two different responses.

Isa ay yung mga taong recognize ang kanilang brokenness yet draw close to the Lord.

At ang pangalawa naman ay ang mga parang Pharisees, standing at a distance and speaking against Him.

Luke 15 reminds us that being "lost" isn't one-size-fits-all. We can wander like a sheep out of simple incapability, become misplaced like a coin through negligence, or run away like the prodigal son out of own willfulness.

Yet, regardless of how we got lost, the heart of the Father never changes: He pursues us, finds us, and opens His arms to embrace us even if we don’t deserve it.

Ultimately, this leaves us with a reflection question:

Who is the driver of your life? Sino and Driver ng Sarili mong buhay? Because where you invest your time and who you spend it with will always reflect your true priority.

May 10, 2026 - “Abiding vs Doing“

—(Luke 10 Martha and Mary story)—

Modern Church accidentally trained people to perform and not to abide. A lot of people missed how to be with God and starts pleasing people.
It is important to understand that Jesus never said, blessed are the busy for those who are truly blessed are those who stay at the feet of Jesus.👣

“Whoever abides in me bears much fruit” 🍎says Jesus —which means fruit will just naturally come out from your intimacy with God.

Therefore, trying to prove something to God isn’t necessary as what is necessary and important is to start spending time with HIM.

The Goal is this,
To be rooted Christian, deeply abiding in the vine. So that the fruit of obedience, service, fellowship, and witnessing grows naturally without performance anxiety.

Does your life reflect the fruits of the Holy Spirit? For this is the evidence of your intimacy with Jesus. 🍒🍓🍇🍎🍉🍊

Jesus rewards:
Intimacy, surrender, and abiding. 🌳

Major significances:

1. Legal Recognition of the Church.
SEC registration makes the church a legitimate and recognized religious organization in the Philippines.
It gives the church a legal identity separate from its members and leaders.
2. Authority to Own Church Properties.
A registered church can legally:
Own land
Build church buildings
Purchase properties
Receive donations and assets under the church’s name.

3. Protection of the Church Name.
The church name becomes officially registered and protected from unauthorized use by other groups.

4. Allows the Church to Enter Legal Transactions
A registered church can:
Open bank accounts
Sign contracts
Receive large donations
Process permits and utilities legally

5. Promotes Order and Accountability
SEC registration requires:
Constitution and by-laws

Baptism represents the old sinful life being buried and a new life beginning in Christ.
When a person goes under the water, it symbolizes dying to sin. Rising from the water symbolizes resurrection into a new life.

“We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death… that we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4
