๐‘ฐ๐‘ต ๐‘ท๐‘ฏ๐‘ถ๐‘ป๐‘ถ๐‘บ | Light and Salt Ministries joined the Mission Mobilization Seminar last May 1 at Eternity Church, Jaro, Iloilo City.

Through this seminar, it increases our understanding and awareness about the mission. It reminded us to do our part to reach the worldโ€”to participate in the calling God has given us.

Indeed, we must not be selfish about the salvation Jesus has given. The heart of salvation is not only for Israel, but, ๐—™๐—ข๐—ฅ ๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—Ÿ ๐—ง๐—›๐—˜ ๐—ก๐—”๐—ง๐—œ๐—ข๐—ก!

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be [a]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.โ€

The heart of Jesus cries for the lost; we as His people may have a heart like Him, too. Be a church that is open to more of Jesus, able to share the gospel, and unafraid to evangelize the world!

Luke 15:20-21 NKJV
20 โ€œAnd he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, โ€˜Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.โ€™

Imagine you have wandered so far that youโ€™ve forgotten the weight of your own worth, trading your inheritance for the hollow echoes of a distant land. SUNDY SERMON RECAP !!!

We were sinners and it's not possible for us to receive God's love. But, God gave His One and only Son to die on the cross to save us from the penalty of sins. Now, we can rejoice in the freedom Jesus' has given us.

This is how He demonstrated His great love towards us - to the extent that He can sacrifice His Begotten Son to die for us. And, when Jesus lives in us, our life became more meaningful.

When we see a cross, we see His sacrifices, we see His love, and we see a victory!

All of us have been renewed, relieved, and refreshed by the Holy Spirit. This camp is indeed God's way of reminding us of Jesus' love and sacrifices for all of us. Jesus, being the propitiation of our sins, wants us not to worry over everything because He already finished it all on the cross of calvary - that He wants us to remember that all things will be made well because He is in control.

Thank You for the cross, Lord.
Thank You for the price You paid.
Thank You for loving us still even on the days that we are not lovable.
Thank You for extending Your grace and mercy over us sinners.
Thank You for this freedom. We love You, Jesus!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
1 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

Christians are brand new people; we are recreated, and we are beginning a new life under a new Master [Jesus].

And as the Holy Spirit is now living within us, let us continue to maintain a Christ-centered life where reading the bible is our daily habit, prayer time is our best moment, and someone who always finds joy in regular fellowships. Let us be a Christian who reflects more of Jesus in us and less of ourselves.

In the twilight of her years, a radiant light has dawned. Lola Pasita, a 90-year-old matriarch, has discovered the warmth of a love that never fades. With a heart worn by the trials of life, she has found solace in the gentle touch of Jesus.

Like a tender seedling that blooms in old age, Lola Pasita's faith has taken root, nourished by the promises of God's love. Her eyes, once clouded by uncertainty, now sparkle with the joy of a newfound Savior.

Lola Pasita's journey to faith was a winding path, paved with questions and doubts. But on that fateful day, when she opened her heart to Jesus, she felt a love that washed away her fears and doubts.

Her days are now filled with prayer, worship, and sharing her testimony with all who will listen. Her wrinkled hands, once worn by toil and trouble, now lift in praise to the One who has redeemed her.

All of us has a role and a function in His kingdom โ€” we are not just spare parts. So, may we keep on fulfilling the roles He has given us and continue to work in unity.
