“Communion in Action,” calls young people to move beyond passive faith and demonstrate the love of Christ through meaningful acts of service in their communities.

The theme is inspired by the experience of the early church in Acts 4:31, "After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly." (NIV) where believers gathered in prayer, were filled with the Holy Spirit, and then boldly shared God’s message. Their communion with God resulted in visible action that impacted those around them. In the same spirit, Global Youth Day reminds us that a genuine connection with Christ naturally leads to a life of service, compassion, and mission.

Anyone Can lead, But Leadership involves exemplifying Christ's service, empowering youth through intentional activities (such as Pathfinders/Adventurers), nurturing spiritual growth through mentorship (understanding your youth!), and prioritizing outreach (spreading the Gospel) in alignment with the church's mission, while working with other departments and respecting the global/local leadership during the Year 2026-2027 term. Essential elements are intent, modesty, inclusiveness (exploring a profound relationship with Jesus.

"For the newly elected Unit II -youth leaders, we're not just to lead for nothing; But by the Grace of God, You Are Choosen, Called to Serve & Empowered to Lead. (Many Are Called But Few Are Choosen).☝🏻🙏

May the Lord; Bless Us All throughout this Journey!🙏❣
