HONGA of Fr. John | March 14, 2026

A joyful celebration as the community gathers as one with Fr. John to give thanks to God for His blessings and healing grace.

We are also honored by the presence of fellow priests, religious sisters, and our Bishop, sharing in this moment of thanksgiving.

The celebration begins with the Holy Mass, followed by a short program. Afterwards, lunch is shared by everyone, and the distribution of pahing.

With grateful hearts, we celebrated in faith, unity, and thanksgiving.

Parish Community Lenten Recollection

The Parish Community successfully concluded its Lenten Recollection held on March 21, 2026, at the Parish Hall, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN. With the theme “Walking Together in Hope this Lenten Season,” the gathering brought together parishioners in a meaningful time of prayer, reflection, and renewal.

Inspired by Hebrews 12:1, “Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us,” the recollection invited everyone to journey in faith with hope, especially during this sacred season of Lent.

The recollection included moments of input, silent reflection, and communal prayer, allowing each participant to encounter God personally while strengthening their bond as a parish family.

Zq the activity concluded, the community LLC reminded to carry qqq spirit of hope beyond the recollection—living it out in daily lifàe through acts of faith, love, and service.

We thank everyone who participated and those who helped organize this meaningful gathering.

Thank you to our energetic speaker Ms. Ate Nati Pagadut...

May we continue walking together in hope, trusting in God’s grace throughout our Lenten journey.

New BEC in Formation

St. Francis of Assisi BEC in Pullaan, one of the BEC of the parish has started organizing a new Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) in Bakkugan because of its distance from the present BEC chapel. For members of the community, attending prayer gatherings and community activities has been difficult due to the location.

For the past months, members and leaders of the main BEC have been regularly visiting the area to assist, accompany, and organize the families who are willing to become part of this new community. Through these visits, they have been conducting prayer meetings and gatherings to help strengthen the faith and unity of the people.

This initiative reflects the mission of the Church to bring the community closer to the people, allowing families to gather, pray, and grow together in faith within their own neighborhood.

We also invite those who are willing to share their time and gifts in giving formation, leading prayers, or simply visiting and accompanying the community to join this mission. Your presence and support will help nurture this growing BEC and strengthen the faith of our brothers and sisters.

"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

Let us continue to pray that this new BEC may grow as a living and vibrant community of faith, united in Christ and committed to serving one another.
