IN PHOTOS | Mother's Day Celebration yesterday, with a Theme: Mother, You Are Special
We learned that God's original design when He created man and woman in His image and blessed them and commanded them to multiply and replenish the earth , it was for them to produce godly children.
At the beginning of that commission, Eve was a bearer and a reflector of God's image of holiness, God's character, but sin destroyed God's design, thousands of years that design was played by the enemy.
However, God's design was not changed. He sent His Son to restore all what the enemy has stolen.
God formed us.
Sin deformed us.
Christ transforms us.
Therefore, mothers who followed Christ are bearers and reflectors of the image of God to their sons and daughters.
It is part of God's plan for a Godly Family.
Motherhood is not an easy role, they are a teacher and a guide, they may experience hardships, different trials, with God, they can stand victorious, through Jesus Christ.
We give thanks to God for preserving the lives of our mothers. As they stand with few cards, prepared bookmarks, roses and a powdered Wings for laundry as a token, we praise the Lord for the provision that He has given us, allowing the church to experience and celebrate His goodness through the lives of our mothers.
This year, we hope and pray for strengthened mothers, to walk with the Lord daily, and to choose to praise the Lord in good times and bad times.
