"Many gifts, one Spirit, one love known in many ways...”

Written by Al Carmines, this beautiful hymn is a celebration of the diversity and unity found within the body of Christ. It reminds us that while each of us has been given different talents, voices, and callings, we are all woven together by the same Holy Spirit to serve the same Lord.

📖 Faith & Fact: The Connection

We sang this anthem on Pentecost Sunday, a day that marks the birth of the Church and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all believers.

Varieties of Gifts, One Spirit
In our Second Reading, the First Epistle to the Corinthians (12:3–13), Paul reminds us that “there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord.” This hymn beautifully echoes that truth: whether we teach, serve, pray, or sing, it is the same Spirit working through each of us.

One Body, Many Members
Paul goes on to say that “in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.” Our differences are not divisions—they are part of the beauty of the Church. Like harmony in music, many voices come together to create something fuller than any one part alone.

The Spirit That Unites
In the First Reading from the Acts of the Apostles (2:1–21), the Holy Spirit descends at Pentecost, allowing people of many languages to understand one another. In the same way, the Spirit continues to draw people together, transforming many voices into one song of praise.

No matter the gifts we have been given, may the Holy Spirit help us use them with joy, humility, and love—for the building up of one body in Christ.

"With just one hand we can travel far together..."

A glimpse of our choir singing Covenant Journey at last weekend's wedding.

The newlyweds requested this beautiful piece themselves, and it was an absolute joy to sing it for them. May their journey together be blessed from the "dawn to the setting sun"!

“Amare et Servire”—to love and to serve. ❤️

We had the absolute privilege of lifting our voices last weekend to celebrate the beautiful marriage of Venjie and Alma Epie.

As a choir, there is no greater joy than using music to serve our community during life’s most sacred moments. Singing this beautiful reminder of love and service was our small way of blessing the newlyweds as they begin their journey together.

Please join us in sending our warmest congratulations and prayers to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

“In my life, Lord, be glorified, be glorified…”

Written by Bob Kilpatrick in 1978, this simple yet deeply personal chorus is a prayer of surrender. In our words, our thoughts, our work, and our song, it asks that Christ be seen—and that God be glorified through our lives.

📖 Faith & Fact: The Connection

This hymn beautifully echoes the prayer Jesus offered just before His crucifixion.

“Glorify Your Son”
In last Sunday's Gospel, the Gospel of John (17:1–11), Jesus prays, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you.” When we sing this hymn, we echo that same desire—that our lives may reflect God’s glory in all we do.

"Belonging to Him"
Jesus speaks of His disciples as those who belong to the Father, saying, “I am glorified in them.” This simple hymn becomes our response: because we belong to Him, may our lives point back to Him.

"A Quiet Surrender"
In a world full of noise, this hymn invites us into something simple: a life quietly offered to God. No grand words—just a humble prayer: *Lord, be glorified in me.*

May this offering by the Epiphany Choir be a gentle reminder to seek His presence in every part of life this week. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms in Epiphany Choir, to all the mothers in our congregation, and to every mom out there. 💐

Honestly, one day never feels enough to thank mothers for everything they do. For the love, patience, sacrifices, support, and even the little things that often go unnoticed.

To the moms we sing with every week, thank you for sharing not just your voices, but also your warmth and presence with our choir family. And to the mothers in our church community and beyond, thank you for the countless ways you care for the people around you every single day.

We know many of you carry so much quietly, yet still manage to show up with love, strength, and grace. That alone is something truly special.

We hope today makes you feel appreciated, celebrated, and deeply loved. You all deserve it. 🌷🎶

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Epiphany Choir. 🤍

“You came from heaven to earth to show the way, from the earth to the cross, my debt to pay...”

Today, the Epiphany Choir shared a powerful medley that traces the entire journey of our salvation. By weaving together the contemporary heart of "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High" with the majestic "All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name," we celebrate both the personal love of a Savior and the universal glory of a King.

📖 Faith & Fact: The Connection

The Way That Leads Us Home
In the Gospel of John (14:1–14), Jesus declares, “I am the way.” This medley follows that path—He came down, gave His life, rose again, and returned in glory—opening the way for us to follow.

A Chosen People
In the First Epistle of Peter (2:2–10), we are called a “chosen people” and a “royal priesthood.” As we sing “ye chosen seed… ye ransomed from the fall,” we are reminded of who we are—people brought from darkness into His light.

Beholding His Glory
In the Acts of the Apostles (7:55–60), Stephen looks up and sees Christ in glory. This medley becomes our own song of praise—lifting our eyes to the risen and reigning Lord.

From the quiet gratitude of our hearts to the "terrestrial ball" of every tribe and nation, we lift His name on high today!

“Christ is risen! Raise your spirits from the caverns of despair.”

This joyful Easter hymn by Brian Wren is a bold invitation to step out of fear and into the new life Christ offers. Because He is risen, we are no longer bound by the shadows of the past, but called into hope, freedom, and praise.

📖 Faith & Fact: The Connection

Today’s readings remind us that the risen Christ still calls, gathers, and leads His people.

The Voice That Calls Us Forth
In today’s Gospel, the Gospel of John (10:1–10), Jesus says that His sheep know His voice and follow Him. This hymn becomes our response to that voice—calling us out of despair and into abundant life.

Restoration and Peace
As we prayed in Psalms 23, the Lord leads us beside still waters and restores our souls. The Resurrection is the deepest form of that restoration: Christ bringing life where there was loss.

A Joyful Community
In Acts of the Apostles 2:42–47, the early Church gathers with glad and generous hearts. Singing “Shout Hosanna!” together is our way of sharing in that same Easter joy today.

Whether you are seeking still waters or ready to sing with gladness, may this music remind you that the risen Christ is calling you into life. ❤️

“And the grave became a place of hope...”

This moving hymn tells the story of a love that was born into our world already seeing the shadow of the cross. It follows the "Shepherd seeking for the lost" through a life of wandering and sacrifice, ending in the glorious moment where the heart that was broken for us begins to beat once again.

📖 Faith & Fact: The Connection

Hearts Set Aflame
In the Gospel of Luke (24:13–35), the disciples on the road to Emmaus move from confusion to recognition as they encounter the risen Christ. Like them, this hymn leads us from uncertainty into the joy of knowing that He is truly alive.

A Living Hope
In the First Epistle of Peter (1:17–23), we are reminded that we have been given new life through Christ. The Resurrection is not just something we celebrate—it is the foundation of the hope we now live in.

As we continue in this Easter season, may this song be a reminder that the story does not end at the grave—

Christ is risen, and His life is now our hope. Alleluia! ❤️

“Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph o’er His foes!”

Written and composed by Robert Lowry in 1874, this hymn is a masterpiece of musical storytelling. It captures the tension between the silence of the burial and the sudden, world-changing power of the Resurrection.

📖 Faith & Fact: The Connection

Today’s readings take us on a journey from confusion and "slow hearts" to a sudden, burning realization of the truth.

The Road to Emmaus: In today’s Gospel (Luke 24:13-35), two disciples are walking in sadness, talking about the death of Jesus. Much like the verses of this hymn, they were focused on the "sealed" tomb. But their hearts began to burn within them as they realized—He is not in the grave; He is walking beside them!

The Living Word: In the Second Reading (1 Peter 1:17-23), we are reminded that we have been born again through the "living and enduring word of God." This hymn is a celebration of that "Living Word" who burst the bars of death to bring us new life.

A Shout of Victory: Just as Peter stood up in Acts 2 to boldly proclaim to the crowd that "God has made this Jesus... both Lord and Messiah," the chorus of this hymn is our own bold proclamation. It is the moment we stop mourning and start celebrating the "Victor" who lives forever.

As we continue in this Easter season, may this song be a reminder that the story does not end at the grave.

Christ is risen, and His life is now our hope. Alleluia!
