Matthew 16:18 (KJV)
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Notice how important the church is for Jesus that He himself declared that even the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Though, it should be built upon that rock, question is, who is that rock? That rock is no other than the Lord Jesus Christ.

- Psalm 61:2, "the rock that is higher than I."
- 1 Corinthians 10:4 "the Spiritual Rock... and that Rock was Christ."
- Matthew 7:24-25 the rock for a strong foundation
- Psalm 18:2 "The Lord is my rock and my fortres..."
- Ephesians 2:20 "chief corner stone."
Just like the song:
"My God is A Rock.
He is my firm and sure foundation,
My God is a Rock,
He towers over all creation..."

Us, the church, our rock is the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith builded on that rock will stand against anything. God Bless!

Everything starts with faith. Beyond our own understanding and the physical world around us, there is a spiritual reality that requires our spiritual faculties. The essence of our journey is simple: a personal dependence on the person and work of Jesus Christ.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)

Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God. Let us continue to walk by faith, grounding our knowledge in His eternal truth.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13 (KJV)

Friends are an important part of life. We look for friends who understand us, support us, and stay with us during difficult times. But human friendships can sometimes fail or change.

Jesus offers a friendship that is different from any other. He knows us completely, cares for us deeply, and loves us unconditionally. His love was shown when He gave His life for us on the cross.

No matter what we go through, Jesus is always near. We can talk to Him in prayer, trust Him with our struggles, and rely on Him every day. With Jesus as our friend, we are never truly alone.

Sometimes, we have many plans in life, but have you ever asked yourself if your plans are in line with the Word of God?

"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)

The best way to make sure your plans work out is to ensure they are approved by God. When you come up with a plan for your life:
• Check it: Is it in line with God’s Word?
• Pray about it: Talk to Him about your heart's desires.
• Observe the fruit: Godly plans won't draw you away from your relationship with Him.

Always put God first because He has a plan for you. Even when we make our own choices, He is the one who decides what will happen. We just need to trust in Him.

Proverbs 16:9 (KJV) "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps."

The Importance of Paryer

Having prayer in our life gives us the confidence not to worry about the things we face in our life, be they problems, temptations, or challenges; God ensures that He is always there. Apostle Paul says, "For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (2 Tim 1:12)."

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

What? Love? How about God's Love?

Love—human love—is very different from God’s love. Human love is often conditional; it gives when appreciated and withdraws when hurt. It is easily provoked, seeks its own, and fades when circumstances change.

But God’s love, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7, is patient and kind. It is not proud, selfish, or easily angered. God’s love does not ignore sin, yet it rejoices in truth and righteousness. It does not give up—it bears, believes, hopes, and endures all things.

This kind of love is beyond human strength. It is God’s love working in us. When we abide in Him, His love flows through us and teaches us how to love others rightly.

We love, not because it is easy, but because God first loved us (1 John 4:19).

1 Corinthians 13:13
"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

Takeaway:
Here we find "charity" (in context, "agapē" in Greek) or "love."

Apostle Paul emphasizes that without love spiritual gifts and actions mean nothing (vv. 1-3); "¹as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal." "²I am nothing." "³it profiteth me nothing."

What we do, everything we do, are we doing it with love?
Am I doing it with love? For God?

Sometimes we do things because we feel obligated to do so, we obey because we're pressured; however, the Bible says it's nothing. What we do out of obligation and pressure is "NOTHING" if it's without charity (love).

My prayer to God:

'Lord, let your love flow through me, let me do things with love, my actions, my service to you. Help me Father to learn and act with love not out of obligation. Thank you Father for loving me and for everything I am today, Amen.'

This month, the world celebrates the season of love--hearts, flowers, and sweet words everywhere. And while human love can be beautiful, let’s pause and look at a kind of love that no person could ever match.

‎The love of people can change. It can fail. Sometimes it is conditional, given when it’s convenient, returned only when something is gained. Even the strongest human love can grow tired, wounded, or distant.

‎But there is another kind of love. One that does not fade, does not depend on our worthiness, and does not walk away when we fail.

‎This is God’s love.

‎It is a love that gives, even knowing it may be rejected. A love so great that it offers salvation--something no man can provide. God offers this love to us even when we fall short, even when we sin, even when we turn away or mock His name. His love is not based on appearance, status, or behavior. It is not limited by our past or defined by our mistakes.

‎This love is sacrificial. Christ died for us "while we were yet sinners", not when we had it all together, not when we deserved it, but right where we were. Through His sacrifice, our sins can be forgiven, and we are given the chance to be restored and reconciled to the Father.

‎So let me ask you:
‎• Have you ever experienced a love like this from any man?
‎• And more importantly: Do you want to experience this kind of love today?

‎God’s love is not just something to admire; it is something to receive. Salvation is being offered freely through Jesus Christ. All He asks is that we come to Him in faith, repent, and believe.

‎"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13, KJV)

‎This season of love, may you come to know the love that never fails—the love of God. ❤️
