This Sunday, we learned about GOD’S MISSION—from creation, to humanity’s fall, to God's redeeming love and His promised restoration. ✨

God sent Himself.
The Word was sent.
And now, we are sent as His witnesses.

After church, we stepped out in faith, going house to house, sharing the Gospel and living out Matthew 28:19–20. 🙌

The church exists to glorify God, teach His Word, build fellowship, and fulfill the Great Commission. And this mission is for all of us.

Step out.
Share your faith.
Invite someone.
Pray for one soul this week.
You are called. You are sent.

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 2and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

In a world that often feels like it's spinning out of control, marked by international tensions, global crises, and the weight of war, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. But this Sunday, the preaching from Ptr. Noel Barra of CODI-Naga, we were reminded of a grounding truth:

God is sovereign over it all.

As Job declared after his season of suffering:
"I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted." — Job 42:2

• How does God's Sovereignty work?

It isn’t just a distant concept; it is an active, reigning power that touches every corner of creation:

1. Even in the "Random": Nothing is a fluke. Even the events that seem like chance are within His reach (Proverbs 16:33).

2. Over Nature: From the clouds to the depths of the sea, even nature obeys His command (Psalms 135:6-7).

3. Driven by Wisdom: We may not understand the why, but we can trust the Who. God's ways are unsearchable and perfect (Romans 11:33-36).

4. Governed by Justice & Mercy: He is not a tyrant; His rule is always balanced by His holy character and His heart for His children.

• The Ultimate Purpose:
Why does He allow the wheels of history to turn this way? It all points to two divine goals:

- To reveal His glory
- To redeem His people.
He works all things according to the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11).

• Resting in His Hope
We don't have to carry the weight of the world when we know Who holds it. Because God is sovereign, we can lay down our anxieties and receive the gift of Romans 15:13:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

TRUE SERVANTS OF CHRIST

From 1 Corinthians 4:1–13, we were encouraged to reflect on what it truly means to be true servants of Christ.

• True servants are faithful in Christ.

Paul reminds us that we are stewards of what God has entrusted to us. Our focus isn’t on pleasing people or chasing approval — it’s about being faithful to the Lord who called us.

• True servants endure through difficult times and give their lives for Him.

Following Jesus isn’t always easy, but we stay committed even in hardship, knowing that our lives belong to Him.

May we walk into this week choosing to be faithful in the ministry of Christ, committing our lives to Him and be willing to endure hardships and persecution for the sake of the Gospel 📖

Today, we celebrate and honor the life of our pastor's wife, best friend, number one support and encourager, and the church's mother, sister, prayer warrior, disciplinarian, cook, and everything in between 😁...
We do not know and see all the sacrifices you give, and the battles a pastor's wife only could know, but we are grateful that you are standing firm to set an example and remain steadfast in your calling, in Christ, for Christ and through Christ!

Yesterday’s service reminded us that the truest proof of our love for God is joyful obedience to His loving commands. As our love for Him deepens, our hearts willingly surrender to a life of trust and obedience.

Let’s keep walking out our love for God through obedience and love for one another ❤️
