☘️ REFLECTION
1. The Kingdom of God:
Hindi lang place, but God’s reign
When Jesus said “seek first the kingdom of God,” He was not talking about a physical place or heaven in the future.
The Kingdom is God’s rule, authority, and will being manifested in your life ngayon.
• Matthew 6:10 — “Your kingdom come, Your will be done…”
• Romans 14:17 — The Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit
Ibig sabihin, the Kingdom is where God’s will is embraced and His life is expressed.
Hindi lang ito darating—it is already present.
• Luke 17:21 — “The kingdom of God is within you.”
⸻
2. THE KINGDOM RECEIVED BY GRACE,
not by Works
Under grace, hindi mo inaabot ang Kingdom through effort. You are brought into it through Christ.
• Colossians 1:13 — We are transferred into the Kingdom of His Son
• Ephesians 2:8–9 — Saved by grace through faith, not by works
So the Kingdom is not something you earn—it is something you receive and live in.
Hindi ito “mag-perform ka para mapasok.”
It is “tinanggap ka na, kaya you can now live under His rule.”
⸻
3. HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS :
Identity before Activity
Jesus said, “and His righteousness.”
This is very important.
Righteousness here is not:
• pagiging mabait enough
• religious performance
IT IS:
• Given through Christ
• Your new identity
• You became the righteousness of God in Christ—2 Corinthians 5:21
• Not your own righteousness, but through faith—Philippians 3:9 —
So when you seek the Kingdom, you are also embracing who you already are in Christ.
⸻
4. THE ORDER OF GRACE:
Kingdom First, Provision Follows
Jesus gives a clear order:
Seek God → Align with Him → Provision comes
• Psalm 23:1 — The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
• Philippians 4:19 — God supplies all your needs
Most people reverse it—they seek provision first.
But grace teaches: when God’s rule is first, provision becomes natural.
Hindi ka naghahabol—God is already providing.
⸻
5. What Does It Mean to Seek?
To “seek” means to prioritize and align your life with God.
• Colossians 3:2 — Set your mind on things above
• 1 Chronicles 16:11 — Seek the Lord continually
Under grace, seeking is not stressful.
It is resting in God while choosing Him daily.
⸻
