Praise God for this generation’s youth! πŸ™ŒπŸ”₯

Last Sunday, we celebrate Youth Sunday as part of the global Youth Month in the Church of the Nazarene.

Jesus reminds us: β€œYou are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14) πŸ’‘βœ¨

Let’s shine bright, live bold, and thank God for calling us to be His light in this generation.

Our future’s bright β€” just as bright as the photos πŸ˜…πŸ“Έ

Big thanks to kuya Manny for the shots, Ptr. Jun Baldiviso for your life and leadership in guiding more youths for Christ (lezzz gowww πŸ™Œ), and of course, thanks CapCut πŸ˜‰πŸŽ¬

Pastor Jeric Saura on Lukewarm Christianity:
πŸ™ Are we truly Christians or have we normalized 'nominal christinaity?'
πŸ™ The moment Christians leave the church, surprisingly, Christ is left behind.
πŸ™ We confuse our culture with being a real Christian, carrying our cross daily.
πŸ™ Half- hearted Christianity is a mockery of Christ's total sacrifice on the cross. It is nothing short of religious farce!
πŸ™ He did not lay down his life so you will give Him your left-overs.
πŸ™ We couldn't quantify our faith to the Lord.
πŸ™ You are either faithful or not.

Text from - Revelation 4:14-22

πŸ™ Laodicea's self-sufficiency corroded themselves.
πŸ™ Despite their filthy rich, to Christ, they are desolate, they are destitute, they are poor, blind, naked, and miserable - they are spiritually bunkrupt.
πŸ™ Sadly, Jesus Christ himself is outside his church. The people inside kick Him out of His own church.
πŸ™ Do not provoke Christ to spit us out of His mouth.

βœ’οΈ Let us then break the attitude of complacency and shatter the deceit of self-sufficiency.

πŸ™ Let us get rid of our fickle faith!
πŸ™ Do not flatter yourself!
πŸ™ "False affections may be very high, but they are fleeting." - Jonathan Edwards
πŸ™ Our affection to Christ must be constant - it may grow tired, but it will not grow distasteful.
πŸ™ "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord." -Romans 12:11

βœ’οΈ We cannot hide from Jesus
πŸ™ The church was covered in moral compromise.
πŸ™ Complacency always breeds moral compromise.
πŸ™ Do not compromise your integrity just to gain personal gain.
πŸ™ Do not loose your moral compass.
πŸ™ Far be it from us, let us not allow ourselves to be consumed by egoism and narcissism.
πŸ™ This is reminiscing what happened in the garden. Adam and Eve hid because of sin.

πŸ™ Clothes or spiritual oblation before the Lord?
πŸ™ Oram Deo - Living in the presence of God
πŸ™ We are to put off this wolrldy clothes, the clothes of vanity, and put on the clothes of righteousness.
πŸ™ Who are we Christians, to revert back to our old lives before meeting Jesus?

βœ’οΈ Do you seek Him because you know daily that you are fallen short of Him?
βœ’οΈ We are better off agnostics or atheists, than hypocritical nominal Christians.

πŸ™ Be sorrowful of your songs
πŸ™ Rid of your spiritual laxity
πŸ™ Stop relying in you self- righteousness.

May God grant us eyes to see our own lackness and sin.

God bless us all!

Come, join us in prayer gathering!
