Dear Parents, Guardians, and Church Family,

After careful prayer, deliberation, consultation and consideration, we regret to inform you that the 2026 Kids Camp is officially cancelled. This decision was made in light of the ongoing geopolitical conflict in the Middle East, which continues to create uncertainty and affect travel, safety, and logistical planning for our council members and ministry partners.

The safety and well-being of our children, volunteers, and staff remain our highest priority. Given the current situation, we believe it is wise and responsible to suspend this year’s camp rather than risk any disruptions.

We understand that many of our young campers were looking forward to this event, and we share in their disappointment. However, we have other local activities that will continue to nurture their spiritual growth, fellowship, and learning such as our upcoming VBS and scheduled Bible Festival.

Thank you for your understanding, prayers, and continued support. Let us keep the affected regions and families in our prayers, asking for peace, protection, and healing.

Sometimes it’s in the heat of the struggle—when prayers feel raw and answers seem delayed—that God becomes most real to us. Trials strip away our false securities and force us to look beyond our own strength. In the fire, distractions burn off, and what remains is a clearer awareness of God’s presence, power, and faithfulness.

Hard seasons don’t mean God is absent; often, they mean He is closer than ever, shaping our character and deepening our trust. When life is comfortable, we may admire God from a distance—but in suffering, we learn to cling to Him. And it is there, in the midst of pain and perseverance, that we often see Him not just as a concept, but as our Sustainer, Refiner, and constant Companion.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” Isaiah 43:2 ESV

- sermon will be judge on content, delivery, poise/voice/, approach and departure.
