"DEAR YOUTH LEADERS, HERE'S A WAKE-UP CALL FOR YOU!"
Nagising ka na ba sa isang hotel habang nagri-ring ang telepono? Anong napansin mo?
Napakalakas ng tunog di ba? Yung tipong kahit na nasa CR ka maririnig mo talaga.
O di kaya kahit tulog ka at tumawag ang reception eh magigising ka talaga.
Pero kung importante ang tawag, wala kang magagawa.
Now, consider this post as a wake-up call for your Youth Ministry. Ang prayer ko ay magising ang puso mo sa paglilingkod lalo na kung matagal na itong natutulog.
Let me share 3 wake up call realities na kailangan mong malaman upang mas mag-alab ka pa sa Panginoon lalo na ngayong panahon.
📌1. NAPAKALAKI NG NEED! 🔥
“…snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1: 23
Sa tagalog, "Agawin ninyo ang mga hahatulan sa apoy ng paghuhukom. Ang iba nama'y kaawaan ninyo nang may halong pag-iingat."
Sa isang shocking report sa Amerika na tinatawag na “The Great Opportunity” (greatopportunity.org), naglabas sila ng isang painful statistics na dapat bantayan nating mga pastors, youth leaders, mga nanay at tatay ng susunod na henerasyon.
Sabi sa isang quote, “35 million youth raised in families that call themselves Christians will say they are not by 2050.”
Okay, stop. Hinga. Let this soak in for a moment.
Grabe. Totoo ba ito? 😮
Na sa hinaharap there will be massive loss of souls. Parang Exodus ng mga kabataan sa church?
Ang sabi pa, “These are not children of other faiths, atheism, or agnosticism. These are our children in our youth groups, attending our Christmas services, going to confirmation classes. They are families today that would call themselves Christian.” 😭
Kaya napakalaki ng need ngayon!
Kung totoo ito, dapat mas magbantay tayo bilang mga leader especially sa discipleship at mas maniguradong nakaugat talaga sila sa Panginoon.
Hindi tayo dapat makapante dahil ang henerasyong ito ng mga kabataan ay kailangan nating ingatan. Nakikita na natin kung anong nangyayari and kailangang may GAWIN TAYO!
The question is, are you fighting for the teenagers in your community?
Or losing the battle to reach the lost teens around you?
Are your young people in the current Youth Group strong and courageous, rooted and grounded enough in God's word?
Kung maaaring magbago ang panahon sa napakaikling panahon, ANONG GINAGAWA MO? Kung maaaring mangyari sa Amerika, ano kayang maaaring mangyari sa ating bansa by 2050?
Be prepared. Do not sleep too long. There's so much hard work and labor to do to prevent this in Jesus' name!
📌2. NAPAKAIKLI NG ORAS! 🔥
“And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” - Romans 13:11
"Gawin ninyo ito, dahil alam ninyong panahon na upang gumising kayo. Ang pagliligtas sa atin ay higit nang malapit ngayon kaysa noong tayo'y unang sumampalataya sa Panginoon." - Roma 13:11
May urgency ng pagsha-share ng GOSPEL dahil tumatakbo ang oras.
👉THE CLOCK OF ETERNITY IS TICKING. ⏱
Masasabi mo ba kung kailan babalik si Jesus?
Kaya, kilangan nating gawin lahat ng makakaya natin para mas maraming kabataan pa ang maligtas.
👉THE CLOCK OF OUR TIME TO IMPACT TEENS IS TICKING. ⏱
May mga young people tayo sa group na matagal ng nanlalamig. Meron namang mga bago na uhaw sa salita ni Lord.
Kailangan natin silang abutin pareho at gisingin din nila ang puso nila sa PAGBABAHAGI sa iba.
Instead of just being an ATTENDER, we need to turn them to become active GOSPEL WARRIORS of JESUS! 💪
Bakit? Kasi hindi natin matatanggap na more than 1 million per year in the next 30 years ang ia-abandon ang faith nila. HINDI ITO PWEDENG MANGYARI!
Kaya dapat na may gawin tayong action. Gisingin na ang natutulog na apoy ng pagbahahagi!
📌3. ANG SOLUSYON AY IKAW! 🔥
“Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” - Ephesians 5:14
"at nalalantad ang lahat dahil sa liwanag. Kaya't sinasabi, “Gumising ka, ikaw na natutulog, bumangon ka mula sa libingan, at liliwanagan ka ni Cristo.” - Efeso 5:14
Kailangan ng revival. Kailangan ng revolution ng inyong Youth Ministry kung gusto mong matigil ang sinasabi sa statistics.
As a leader, you must turn from being meeting-focused to mission-focused!
As a leader, you must be less about making programs and more about launching a movement that will make an impact!
As a leader, you must aim to advance the Gospel and equip your teenagers to do the same ng may love, urgency at extreme intentionality.
Ito ang good news from The Great Opportunity report:
“If we return to retention and evangelism like we saw just 20 years ago, more people will be saved than during both Great Awakenings, the African American church growth after the Civil War, the Azusa revivals, and EVERY Billy Graham conversion – COMBINED.”
Paano kung mas magiging masigasig pa tayo? Hindi lang to close the gap, pero upang mag-increase pa ang number ng mga Christian teenagers sa Pilipinas?
Posible! Why? It's because Jesus is the game changer! Kaya ka niyang gamitin at lahat ng kabataan sa inyong Youth Ministry para baguhin ang statistics na ito!
Paano ka magsisimula?
✨First of all, mag-start ka munang mag-PRAY that God would use you and your Youth Ministry, to change the situation in your Youth Ministry.
Gather and call for prayer intercession! Hindi dapat tumigil ang ministry sa pananalangin.
✨Then, talk to your pastor and Support Team and plan what can you do to make an impact. Revive your evangelism!
You can start again sa pag-train sa mga youth how they can do GOSPEL PRESENTATION using different methods sa kanilang mga friends. I-maximize ang social media and strategize to do more.
