Dear God,

You painted the mountains with green,
filled the rivers with life,
placed the stars in the heavens,
and gave breath to every living creature.

Yet, sometimes, we forget that the earth is not simply something we use—it is a gift we are called to love, protect, and share.

Open our eyes to the beauty around us.
Give us hearts that care when forests disappear,
when rivers become polluted,
and when communities and creatures are placed at risk.

Give us courage to stand for what is right,
wisdom to choose what protects life,
and compassion to think not only of today,
but of the generations who will inherit this beautiful home.

May our hands become hands that plant, restore, and heal.
May our voices become voices that call for justice and responsible stewardship.
And may our actions show our gratitude for the world You have entrusted to us.

Lord, teach us to protect what You have created,
to defend what is vulnerable,
and to leave the earth more beautiful than we found it.

Let us protect creation.
Let us protect life.
Let us protect our common home.

Amen.
