The three-day Vicariate Youth Camp in Amsalsal was a transformative journey of self-discovery, challenging us to look past temporary distractions to find our true identity as children of God. Through shared laughter in the "Amazing Race" and the "righteous silence" of Taizé prayer, we transitioned from merely hearing about Christ to encountering Him through the presence of our peers.

This experience reminded us that we are not just the future of the Church, but its vibrant present—a community of "conscious travelers" rooted in healing and hope. We continue on our own paths with a renewed sense of purpose, deeply connected to one another and more grounded in our faith in Christ.

April 5, 2026 | Easter of the Lord's Resurrection

"I am precious because of the Lord!"

Easter Sunday is when Jesus resurrected from the dead. He won over sin and death. We are told we are so precious because He thought about us. He sacrificed for us to be saved. Because of love, He came once again to give us salvation and show us that there is hope.

As the homily stated, we only live once, so let us use the gifts that God gave us. Let us be better children of God and be bearers of hope for others. May we repent from our sins and make our past mistakes a lesson for this next journey.

Let us applaud because Jesus Christ has risen from the dead! Let us spread love, peace, and hope to everyone!
